Sanam woke slowly, the early morning light filtering through the curtains and casting a warm glow over the room. She shifted slightly, careful not to disturb the serene figure beside her. Kahini lay peacefully in bed, her breathing soft and rhythmic, a small, contented smile playing on her lips. Sanam's heart swelled with a mixture of deep affection and gratitude as she took in the sight of the woman who had become her rock in the stormiest of seas.

The memories of the past few days flashed through Sanam's mind—the nights spent clinging to Kahini for strength, the quiet words of comfort, and the unwavering support that had pulled her from the depths of despair. Kahini had been her light, guiding her through the darkest hours with a tender strength that seemed almost otherworldly.

Sanam couldn't help as her eyes traced the gentle curve of Kahini's face, a surge of emotion welled up inside her, making her heart ache with a profound sense of belonging and love.

Just as Sanam was lost in her reverie, admiring the beauty of the woman who had so seamlessly become her sanctuary, Kahini stirred. With a sleepy, mischievous smile.

"Are you just gonna stare or gonna kiss me too?" Kahini murmured, her voice a soft, teasing whisper.

The playful challenge in Kahini's tone made Sanam's heart flutter with a mix of joy and anticipation. She leaned closer, her lips curling into a tender smile that matched Kahini's own. The world outside seemed to fade away as she focused solely on the woman before her—the woman who had become her everything.

As their lips met in a gentle, lingering kiss, Sanam felt a wave of love and relief wash over her. It was a kiss filled with the promise of a future together, with all its uncertainties and triumphs. The kiss deepened, becoming a silent exchange of all the gratitude and adoration Sanam felt—a wordless testament to the bond they shared.

When they finally parted, both women were breathless, their eyes locked in an unspoken understanding.  her heart full to bursting with the knowledge that, despite everything, she had found her soulmate.

"Are you okay?" Kahini's voice was tender, filled with loving concern as she gently searched Sanam's eyes.

Sanam smiled softly, her fingers brushing a stray lock of hair from Kahini's face. "As long as you're with me, I'll never be 'not okay.'" Her voice was steady.

Kahini smiled, warmth flooding her features as she gently flipped them over, resting her head on Sanam's chest. Sanam held her close, fingers moving tenderly through Kahini's hair, the weight of her lover's body grounding her, making her feel at home.

"Are you sure I shouldn't go to my room? I don't want the kids to feel uncomfortable if they see me coming out of your room." Kahini's voice came softly from where her head lay.

Sanam sighed, as she leaned back against the headboard. "Yeah, don't worry. I'm going to talk to them over breakfast. With everything going on, I haven't had the chance to explain things to them about us." Her voice lowered as she added, "And I need to talk to Faraz too... I still can't believe he knew."

Kahini nodded slightly. "Yeah, they need to hear it from you. I'm sure they have a lot of questions."

Sanam hummed in agreement. "I also need to talk to Kavis. I have to figure out the way to get Meher out of that place. It's not good for her health." Concern clouded her features, her voice tight with worry.

"Don't worry about that. Leave it to me. I'll talk to Kavis and figure out what we can do." Kahini lifted her head, her eyes soft as she reassured her.
