The following night, Faraz found himself unable to sleep, his mind consumed with worry about his mother. Determined to understand more about Kahini and her connection to Sanam, he sat at his desk, the glow of his laptop illuminating his focused expression. He began his deep dive into the digital world, starting with basic search engine queries.

In no time Faraz discovered a wealth of information. From Kahini's past relationship with Actor Shirish Kohli to her successful career in the entertainment industry, and her current life dedicated to social work. The more he found, the more intrigued and concerned he became. He watched old video clips of Kahini on family outings with Aarushi and Shirish, noting how genuinely happy they seemed. In one interview, Shirish denied the romantic rumors and described Kahini as a dear friend and the closest thing to a mother for Aarushi. This revelation added another layer to the puzzle, hinting at a complex and deep-rooted relationship.

As Faraz continued his research, he stumbled upon photos from Marine Drive and video clips from club. In these, his mother, Sanam, was often seen with Shirish. He also found videos from a recent concert where his mother sang a love song for the first time in years that too without the shawl which she always carry his father gift. While performing, Sanam's gaze repeatedly found its way to Kahini, a detail that didn't go unnoticed by Faraz.

Determined to dig deeper, Faraz managed to sneak in to Kahini's social media accounts. He scrolled through pictures and posts that offered glimpses into her life in Kullu, her dedication to the orphanage, and her many travel stories. These posts painted a picture of a compassionate, adventurous woman who had touched many lives.

A significant find was an open letter Kahini had posted years ago on Instagram. It was a heartfelt appreciation of Sanam as a singer, penned when she first heard her sing. The letter had a cute fan-like quality, yet certain words stood out. As Faraz read through it, he couldn't help but smile, sensing the affection and admiration between the lines.

By the time dawn broke, Faraz had pieced together a significant part of the story. He leaned back in his chair, his eyes heavy with exhaustion but his mind buzzing with everything he had learned. The pieces of the puzzle were starting to fit together, revealing a profound and heartfelt relationship between his mother and Kahini. Faraz knew he had to tread carefully, but his concern for his mother's happiness and well-being drove him to understand more about this new reality.

Soheb sat on the couch, phone in hand, finishing a call. Faraz entered, settling into the armchair nearby, his face tense and eyes puffy from sleeplessness.

"Yes, on the 7th to Mumbai. Don't book the return just yet, Okay send me then." Soheb said into the phone before hanging up. He turned to Faraz, noting the worry etched on his nephew's face.

"Planning to go to India again?" Faraz asked, his voice tinged with disappointment.

"Sanam has a concert there," Soheb replied curtly.

"Yeah, the Sound of Shore concert, right? The one her girlfriend also comes to," Faraz commented, his tone edged with frustration and confusion.

"Faraz, beta..." Soheb sighed, rubbing his temples, his voice weary from the emotional weight.

"What? Correct me if I'm wrong," Faraz shot back, eyes narrowing in agitation.

"Okay, I'm done..." Soheb began gathering his things, his movements tense and deliberate, ready to leave, but Faraz's desperate plea stopped him.
