"Are you sure you'll be fine?" Kahini asked softly, her voice filled with concern as she tucked Aarushi into Sanam's new hotel suite.

"Yes, mom. You go, I'll be fine. I'll watch some movie until you come back, " Aarushi reassured, her voice carrying the confident tone of an 11-year-old.

Kahini lingered a moment longer, making sure she was truly at ease. "Okay, but if anything happens, call me, alright? I'm just downstairs. We'll be back in a little while, then we'll go for dinner."

"Yes, mom. Don't worry, I'll be a good girl." Aarushi smiled, her voice steady. She was trying to comfort her mother now.

Kahini smiled, her heart swelling with pride. Dropping a tender kiss on Aarushi's forehead, she whispered, "You are my good girl, my bachcha." And with that, she turned and left the room.

As she reached the hotel's main reception, she paused and asked, "Hi, could you please guide me to Sanam Mehru's press conference?"

The receptionist blinked before asking, "Are you with the media, ma'am?"

Kahini hesitated, knowing they wouldn't let just anyone into the event. "No, I'm with the organizer of the show," she improvised smoothly.

Before the receptionist could respond, a familiar male voice cut through the air. "Still tricking people to get your way, I see." The playful tone brought a grin to her face as Kahini recognized her old friend, Atul, the PR head of the show.

"Still following me around, Mr. Ajmera?" she teased, turning to embrace him in a warm hug.

"My poor heart still hopes for your love, K," Atul replied with mock sincerity, his flirty tone earning a giggle from her as they broke the hug.

"Well, tell your poor heart it has no chance," she quipped, playfully patting his chest.

Shaking his head with a smirk, Atul turned to the receptionist, "She's with us," he said, and with that, they began walking through the lavish lobby of the five-star hotel.

"I didn't know you were back to handling international artists. How is it that no one knows the great K has returned to the game?" Atul asked, his arm casually wrapping around her shoulders as they walked.

"I'm not back. I'm just here for a few days, and I'm not managing Sanam," Kahini clarified as they moved through the grand hallways.

"But Sanam said you were the one who spoke highly of the show and convinced her to accept our long-standing offer," Atul added, his confusion evident.

"Oh, that. We were just chatting about things, and she asked me about Sound of Shore. I gave my honest opinion, that's all. But why are you wandering around the lobby? Shouldn't you be in the press conference?" Kahini questioned, her voice teasing.

"The press conference ended half an hour ago. The one-on-one interviews are happening now," Atul explained. "You seem to know Sanam pretty well—why didn't you tell us? You know we've been trying to get her for years."

Kahini chuckled softly. "I had no idea. But you know what they say, good things take time." Her playful response earned a shake of the head from her friend.

"You never change—always full of secrets," Atul teased, laughing under his breath. "You know, everyone's going to be thrilled to see you. No one knows you're here."

Kahini stopped in her tracks, her playful demeanor shifting into one of slight alarm. "What do you mean everyone? Don't tell me the design team is here," she said firmly, her eyes narrowing as she stared at him.
