When Tyler opened the door they walked into an unusual scene. As usual Dan was in the corning reading a book Tyler found him a few days ago. The surprising part was that Georgia was reading too.
"Georgia? When did you start reading?" Tyler asked, but before Georgia could respond Alyssa cut in.
"I'm so sorry about that," she said addressing the strangers, "I have no idea where his manners went. Everyone this is Kevin, Lola, and Carl," she said pointing to each one as they were named. "Guests, I'm sure you can guess who Georgia is," Alyssa started, glaring at Tyler when she mentioned Georgia, "the other girl is Sally, and the guy in the corner is Dan."
Dan, oblivious to what was going on until he was mentioned, on of his prominent habits, stood up but suddenly fell back down when he saw the strangers. "There are others?" he wondered in awe, his mouth agape, "how did you find them?" this time speaking to Tyler.
"Actually, they found us. Once I met up with Alyssa we started home, but then we heard this noise-
"It was our car!" Kevin interrupted excitedly, "I hot wired it myself."
"Wow," Dan said, full of respect, "is there anything you can teach me?"
Dan was always eager to learn new things, which was one reason he loved to read. The second reason was he was very curious, a quality he shared with-
"Do you know anything about the how this winter happened!?" Sally questioned furiously, "If you do please tell us." This time she was pleading.
