Lola woke in a cold sweat, desperately gasping for air. She had another nightmare about Kevin and Carl. She walked outside to see Sally cooking eggs over the campfire.
Tyler was showing Dan how to maintain his newly acquired sniper rifle. Dan had always preferred to kill from afar, because up close he had to rely solely on rage and hate. "Is something wrong Lola? You seem quiet," Dan remarked, Tyler had finished cleaning Dan's gun and had gone to talk to Georgia.
"I'm fine," Lola replied and immediately stood up and walked to her tent. Dan shot Sally a questioning look and was about to follow Lola when he was stopped by the familiar pain of Sally's elbow in his rib.
Just before Dan could protest, they all heard an inhumane roar of pain and saw Prudence collapse, her leg stained red.
