Tyler decided to take a nap before dinner, he always felt calmer and thought clearer after a short rest. He dreamed about his uncle again.
"After the asteroid struck the netting, everyone thought it was going to be fine," he started,"but how wrong they were. The impact of the asteroid on Earth's artificial barrier had caused the planet to shift away from the ever so slightly, but this caused big change.
"Most grounds not within the tropics froze over, halting the progress of mining. As anyone could guess, resource wars started, and it quickly escalated to nuclear war."
Author's note: These "Winter" chapters are probably going to be short but I hope to make a lot of them.
