"What happened!? Where are Kevin and Carl!?!?" Lola screamed in panic, actually showing a sort of compassion. Alyssa's death really changed her, and she was not prepared to loose more friends."Calm down, we must not act rashly," Prudence soothed, her muzzle twitching as she spoke. "I can smell a trail. If we gather supplies we could start a search party."
"Who took them?" Dan asked, his unibrow for which he was known was furrowed in deep thought. "Wouldn't there be a second scent trail if they were kidnapped?"
"There is none. They left of their own free will. Maybe we should let them go-" "NO!" Lola screeched causing several wolves to cover their ears and whimper from the explosion of sound. "Why would they leave?"
"Guys! I found something!" Sally yelled. The others immediately sprinted through the camp to get to her.
Georgia and Tyler said in unison, "What? Did you find something?" They quietly giggled but no one noticed. Everyone was too focused on Sally's outstretched palm. In it was tiny scrap of paper.
