Everyone ceased fire immediately and scrambled for their thermal suits, because exposure to the temperatures for more than two minutes all moisture in the body freezes, clogging vessels.
Luckily almost everyone had theirs with them. Almost. As soon as those who were ready were all suited up, the wolves charged in. Amidst the chaos no one noticed Alyssa was struggling to get to her suit, which was across the bunker.
Dan and Sally were doing fine, fighting back to back, each already accustomed to the other's fighting style from the years they spent together before finding the others.
While Dan struck out viciously and aggressively with his sabers, Sally preferred a defensive style, equipped with a shield and short sword, covering Dan's exposed flank as he hacked through the wolves.
Carl, Kevin, and Lola were surprisingly in sync with one another. Lola shared Dan's aggression but to a lesser extent, so she didn't need someone to cover her flanks. Carl defended Kevin as he quickly assembled some sort of gadget. Amazingly, this "gadget" was a saw blade that revolved 360 degrees at a quick speed. Kevin made short work of those attacking him now.
Tyler frantically scrambled around looking for Alyssa. By the time he spotted her it was too late.
