Chapter 286

Matt's POV: After spending the past 30 minutes talking to Matteo and feeding the babies, I turned to look at Gabby and smiled at her. "How are you feeling? You seemed to be getting a bit emotional or stressed at the end of the call." Gabby sighed as she looked at me. "I am just happy that Matteo is back to his normal self and happy that we are taking some time. Yet, looking at him makes me think about all those questions that we still have about his health. All the unknowns about whether or not he has Anxiety, OCD and ADHD like I do. So, it's hard."

I nodded and understood as I went to wrap my arm around Gabby. "If you want me to wait to do chief stuff, I can." Looking down at Ella, I smiled as I rubbed her back and then kissed her forehead. "I swear, I don't get it. What is it with both of my girls always looking so comfortable whenever they are laying down on my chest." Gabby smiled when I said that. "It's us enjoying your presence. You calm us down. Me especially, having you nearby is always helpful." I nodded and understood what she meant while going to grab her hand.

Gently rubbing Ella's back, I smiled as me and Gabby held each other close. "You still worried about something?" Gabby shook her head. "Not right now. I am actually quite calm right now. And that's actually why I am considering taking a nap right now. This is the best time considering I am this relaxed." I nodded and understood. "Then go ahead and take a nap Gabby, just put Wally in his crib and I can work on my laptop while holding Ella in my arms."

Gabby smiled and agreed as she went to get up and then went to put Wally down in the crib that was right next to the bed on her side. Tugging his blanket up, Gabby then smiled as she looked at me while getting back in bed. Quickly leaning over me, Gabby gave me a kiss before cuddling up to me. Wrapping my arm around her, I smiled. "You know what, screw the chief stuff. I am currently on a Valentine's Day hotel date with my wife and babies. It can wait until I am back at work when we are on a down time."

Gabby agreed as she just held me close. "Agreed. Now, you going to put her in her crib or are you going to keep her there? Because if you aren't going to work...I would love to cuddle up toy ou more while I rest." I then thought about it. "I just think I am going to do it on my iPad instead of my laptop. Is that okay?" Gabby nodded and agreed. "Good idea. Now, get what you need to work and then put her in her crib. I am ready to cuddle up to you during my nap." 

I laughed when she said that and agreed as I quickly got up and went to put Ella in her crib. Once she was in her crib, I covered her up just like Gabby did with Wally. Grabbing my iPad from my side table on my way back to bed, I smiled as I went to lay down next to Gabby and just watched as she came to lay down right next to me with her head on my shoulder and her hand on my chest. Wrapping my arm around her back, I then smiled as I went to kiss her forehead softly and put my hand on her butt. "God, this is comfortable."

Gabby laughed when I said that and smiled as she cuddled up to me. Rubbing my chest a she took a quick nap, I went to open my e-mails on my iPad and smiled as I quickly read through them while relaxing with my family.
