Chapter 303

Matt's POV: After getting home and unpacking all of our things, I smiled as I made my way downstairs to the kitchen after checking on the kids. The babies were asleep in their nurseries while Matteo was taking a nap in bed. Apparently, they didn't sleep that good at the hotel last night. That just left one person in the family unaccounted for. Seeing Gabby standing in the kitchen, I made my way downstairs and went to stand behind her before wrapping my arms around her and kissing her shoulder. "You need to talk to me after the conversation in the car?"

Gabby then sighed as she turned around in my arms and looked at me. Putting her hand on my chest, she then went to cuddle up to me while I wrapped my arm around her and went to push a strand of her hair behind her ear. Grabbing my back, Gabby just held me close. "Talk to me Gabby. I am here for you, whatever you need." Gabby nodded and agreed as she went to kiss me softly. "Do you really feel like something overshadowed our kids births?" I then shook my head as I wrapped my arms around her. "No, nothing can ever overshadow our kids births."

Gabby then went to rub my arms. "I just don't know how else to explain it to other people. How to explain how it all happened at the same time. It's also even harder for me because I need to be careful in what words I use. I know that if I say something wrong....It's going to send your mind racing. And I don't want that ever. You deserve to relax when we are together. You are already super mom when I am at work, you deserve to rest and just get a break when I am home. And I mean that Gabby. If you need time to just take a breather, do it when I'm home."

Grabbing my hand, Gabby went to rub my hand. "Do you need to work on your computer right now?" I then shook my head and just looked at her. "No, I can wait until later. Or tomorrow." Gabby nodded and agreed with me as she brought me close to her. Moving my hands to her butt, I looked into her eyes while holding her close to me. "The babies are in their nurseries and Matteo is taking a nap in his bed right?" I nodded and smiled while bending down to kiss her softly. "Yes, they are." Gabby smirked as she wrapped her arms around me.

She then went to whisper to me. "Then what are we doing down here? I think there is somewhere else that we can be right now that is much sexier." I smirked when she said that before going to pick her up in my arms. Wrapping her legs around my waist, I smiled as I felt Gabby grab the back of my head while I grabbed her back. "Matt, take me to bed and just held me relax. I need my husband to help me do that right now in his loving, sexy ways." I smirked when she said that before running my hands up her shirt while carrying her upstairs.

Going to kiss her neck softly as I started to carry her upstairs, I could help but smile at the thought of us getting in bed together. We didn't really get much of a chance over the past couple of days and I feel like this is exactly what I need. And what's even better is that it's happening on Valentine's day, one of the most romantic days of the years. I just hope that Matteo doesn't want up anytime soon...because I want to take my sweet time with Gabby when we are in bed together.
