Chapter 332

Matt's POV: Once I finished putting Matteo down for a nap, I smiled as I came back downstairs to see Gabby in the kitchen cleaning some bottles. Seeing me come down, Gabby smiled. "That was fast." I nodded and agreed as I walked up to her. "He was really tired. That means we are going to have more time with the babies. Or, alone in bed." Gabby nodded and agreed as she stepped close to me. Putting her hands on my chest, she then kissed me softly. "I want to talk about what we mentioned at Antonio's okay? All of it. Promise me that you won't work yet."

I nodded and agreed as I went to put my hands on her hips. "Hey, of course we can talk. That's why I rushed to put Matteo to sleep. I know that it's still stuck in your head. Us coming home was solely because I knew we needed to talk. I told Antonio that and we are going to deal with it the minute that we have the babies in their cribs in our room. I promise, we are going to figure this out. But please remember that I have your back. Always have and always will." Gabby nodded and agreed with me as she grabbed my hands and intertwined our fingers while getting close.

Looking at her, I smiled as I went to kiss her softly while we held each other close. I then let her hands go before going to hug her. "What do you say we head upstairs to bed so that we can relax okay? I know that's what you are thinking about doing right now. I am going to stay in this because I like wearing this right now. But, you can get changed if you want. Not that I don't like tugging on this jacket sometimes." Grabbing her jacket, I then went to bring her close to me. Gabby smiled and laughed when I said that before putting her hands on my chest.

"Listen, one more thing I want to talk about. I know we are debating this but...I want to find a specialist for Matteo. I want to get an appointment on the books and get him diagnosed. I just want to get it done. Then, I might relax a bit more." I nodded and agreed with her while moving my hands from her jacket to the counter. Putting them next to her and stepping close to her, I nodded and agreed with her. "Whatever is going to make our lives easier, I am all for it. Gabby, I may not mention it...but I see you struggle. Please know that okay? I see it sometimes."

Gabby nodded and smiled when I said that. "I know it's not something I should smile about but, it just makes me feel good I guess that you notice it? Means I don't have to tell you." I nodded and agreed as I went to push a strand of hair behind her ear. "I am trying to be much more attentive in this marriage compared to our last one. Gabby, I missed a lot of signs last time around. Not this time, I promise." Gabby nodded and agreed with me when I said that before kissing me softly. "Can we just go upstairs? Enough about our last marriage."

I smiled when she said that before going to grab her hand. Intertwining our fingers, I smiled as I went to lead her upstairs to our room. "So, am I getting changed or am I staying in this jacket?" I then looked at her and smiled. "You should get changed. I know that makes you relax more. I know I shouldn't say this but...you need it Gabby. If anything can help you relax, then you should do it." Gabby nodded and smiled when I said that. "Can you get changed too. It's more comfortable when you are sweats. I think I might want to hold you close." I nodded and agreed.

"Anything for you." Gabby smiled when I said that. Leading me upstairs, I could tell she was ready to just cuddle in bed for a while.
