Valentine's Day

Matt's POV: After quietly sneaking out of the hotel quickly that morning, I smiled as I came back to the suite after having already taken a shower and done my errands. Like I said the night before, I didn't care whether Gabby wanted flowers or not. She was going to get a whole bunch of roses from me since it was Valentine's Day. And boy was this going to be a fun Valentine's Day. Just us and the kids here at the hotel. We can play with them. And by kids, I meant kids. I decided to get Matteo so he could at least spend the day with us today. That way Gabby gets to spend today with all the people she loves.

Looking at Matteo as I hold him and the roses in my arms, I smiled at him. "Remember what I said buddy, make sure that you are quiet when you walk into the bedroom. Only speak quietly when you are next to mama in bed." Matteo nodded and agreed as I went to set him down. I then went to give him the roses and smiled. "Go see mama and be careful." He agreed and nodded as he walked away to the bedroom. We already rehearsed this and I couldn't wait to see what Gabby's reaction would be. Walking over to the door and leaing against it, I watched.

Walking right up to her, Matteo put the roses in Gabby's face as we planned. Gabby then started to wake up and was shocked. "Oh what are these?" I then smiled at her. "Hi Matteo, when did you get here?" That's when I decided to speak up. "I woke up an hour ago. I arranged to pick him up from Antonio so he could spend the day with us. We are going to head home tonight. But those roses are not from him. They are from me." Gabby then smiled as she went to sit up and looked at me. She then looked at Matteo and saw him get in bed. "Just sit down buddy."

He nodded and agreed as he went to sit in bed. Meanwhile, Gabby got up and walked over to me. Wrapping her arms around me, she smiled as she went to kiss me softly. "Happy Valentine's Day." I smiled when she said that and went to kiss her again. "Happy Valentine's Day to you too. You like the roses?" Gabby nodded and smiled as she went to grab my hand. "I am going to like them even more when you come sit with me and Matteo in bed. I want to cuddle as a family to start Valentine's Day with the people I love next to me in bed."

I nodded and smiled when she said that, agreeing as I walked over to bed with her. Getting in bed me, Gabby looked at Matteo and smiled. "Can you move over baby boy? Daddy is going to sit in bed with us and we can spend the day as a family. Me, you and daddy." Matteo nodded and understood as he moved over for a minute. Getting in bed, Gabby then smiled as she felt me join her in bed right away. Wrapping my arm around her, I smiled as I went to kiss the top of her head before looking down at her. "I want him to stay the night. I hope you brought a bag for him."

I nodded and agreed with her as I went to lean down to kiss her softly. "Sounds perfect and I did. I love you." Matteo then smiled as he crawled over to Gabby. "I wuv you mama." Gabby smiled when he said that and went to open her arms. "I love you too Matteo. Can I get a hug?" Matteo then nodded and agreed with her as he went to cuddle up to her, laying down on her chest. Looking at Matteo, I decided to tug the covers up and just looked at Gabby when I felt her grab my hand. "Can you do me a favor and get the babies for me? I want to cuddle as a family."

I nodded and smiled at her before going to get up so that I could get the kids. However first, I was going to get something for Gabby in the washroom. "Babe, the kids are the other way." Going to grab her medicine and putting it in a cup quickly, I then went to grab a cup of water before walking out to her. "Here, can you take these before I get the kids?" I then looked at Matteo. "Matteo, mommy has to take her medicine okay?" Matteo then nodded as he went to get off of her and laid down in the middle of the bed.

Passing Gabby a container with her medicine, she went to take them before taking a drink of water. Once it was done, she gave it to me again before wrapping her arm around Matteo. Kissing his forehead, she smiled while I walked back to the bathroom to put her medicine container down. That's when we both heard Matteo ask a question we weren't expecting to hear for a while. "Momma, why do you take medicine every day? Are you sick?"
