Ink groaned, waking up wearily to a loud buzzing. He smacked the small alarm clock buzzing on the small bedside table, causing the annoying buzzing to stop. Ink sat up groaning slightly. He rubbed his hands on his wet face, remembering his grief from last night. Ink's eyes were blurred with tears from the previous night.

He sat up and curled into a ball, his arms crossed and head plopped on top of them. Remembering his situation, he was about to have another mental breakdown like he did last night, before he felt his already low emotions slipping away from him. He shot out of his bed and towards his closet. He opened the door and rifled through his clothes. He looked through the closet multiple times, not being able to find his vials anywhere.

Ink started to freak out at the lack of his vials. He started to look everywhere he could think of in his room. Under his bed, couches, flipping them over to try and find them. Going through the closet again, throwing the clothes into the room. He threw the covers and pillows off his bed. The bathroom being completely torn apart along with the rest of his poor room. It ended up taking him upwards of half an hour from the sheer number of times he looked in the same places. He eventually ran out of his vials, his emotions completely gone. And with his emotions leaving him, so did his personality, so did his ability to move. It was an unfortunate side effect of running out of vials.

Nightmare was sitting on the same couch as before, with another coffee, waiting for Ink again. Though he found himself waiting a lot longer then he should’ve had to wait. In fact, Killer and Error came down the hallway before Ink did. They both plopped down on the couches next to Nightmare, both greeting him.

“Morning Boss. Thought you’d be in your room by now?” Killer greeted, too tired to really be confused.

“Good morning. Did either of you see Ink in the hallway when you came out?” Nightmare asked.

“No we didn’t. He hasn't come out yet?” Error asked quietly.

“No. I am going to get him, Killer, come with me.” Nightmare ordered, standing up.

“K Boss. Let’s go.” Killer said, standing up.

Nightmare started walking down the hallway, Killer speed walking to catch up with him. The duo silently walked down the hallway, Killer not enjoying said silence. It was a little too awkward for his tastes.

“Soooo, why do you care so much about the Squid Boss?” Killer asked, trying to break the silence.

“Of all the people in this mansion, you should know Killer. We have talked about this before, I have told you.” Nightmare said, his demeanour becoming much lighter when they left Error’s earshot.

“Do you really gotta be such an ass Nightmare?” Killer laughed. “You’re pretty good at all this shit, I mean you seem like you don’t actually like me most of the time.”

“Would you rather me be rude to you sometimes or have all of them be rude to you?”

“Well I’m sure the worst thing that would happen would be a little teasing. I can deal with that much more than I can deal with you being an asshole to me all the time.”

“Well I am sorry, but I would much rather be a little mean to you than be bullied by my subordinates. Also, I give you a lot of love when in private. You will live Ki-”

Nightmare was interrupted by a thud behind them. He turned around and realized that they had walked past Ink’s room and that the thud had come from the room. They walked back to the door and Nightmare knocked on it. There was no answer, no noise, no movement, no nothing. The duo looked at each other with worried looks before Killer decided to speak up.
