Ink woke up, stretching and yawning. He jumped when his hand hit someone beside him. He turned around and saw Nightmare and Killer cuddling to the side of him. Ink gasped and sat up, completely forgetting what happened the night before. He yelped as he was dragged down and trapped by arms wrapping around him.
"Good morning Ink." Nightmare groaned tiredly.
Ink pushed away from Nightmare to no avail. He looked up as he heard Nightmare chuckling.
"Come on Love, that didn't work last night, why would it work now?"
Ink's face was flushed with blush, and hid it in Nightmares ribcage. Nightmare smiled and kissed Ink on the forehead.
"Are you alright?" Nightmare asked.
Ink looked up at Nightmare and tiled his head a little bit in confusion.
"Why wouldn't I be ok?" He asked.
"Well I distinctly remember Killer pulling out a knife, some blood, and a lot bruises on your ectobody."
Ink blushed and chuckled a little.
"Don't worry, I'm ok. Just a couple cuts and bruises. It's not the end of the world."
"Well you still have your ecto summoned so I wanted to make sure you are ok. Are you sure?"
"Don't worry I'm good. I'll desummon it later."
Nightmare sighed and decided to just let it be.
"C-can I talk to you about something?" Ink asked.
"You already are."
"Ha ha, very funny."
"What would you like to talk about Ink."
"I... c-can I... do you think I could join you?"
"Join me?"
"Th-the Bad Sanses."
"Mm? What changed your mind?"
"I've... I've never had people rush to my aid like that. I barely even know you guys, and you immediately protected me at the smallest idea that something was wrong. No one has ever done that for me. While I definitely didn't need it, appreciate it a lot. Everyone always assumes I'm strong enough to handle anything and don't need to be looked after, but you didn't. I guess... I guess I just want to be a part of something with people who care about me... for some reason."
"Alright, I understand. I am glad that we could be there for you in that way. Once we actually get up we shall make it official."
"Thank you..."
