TW: Blood & Violence

------

Dream jumped through a portal into Fell's au, where both he and Classic should've been. He could feel they were here using his magic, and he stormed into Fell's house. No knocking, no politeness, nothing. Classic and Fell were sitting on the couch, both of them shocked at the invasion of their privacy. But they were even more surprised when they saw and heard how angry he was.

"Get off your asses and help me!" He screamed.

Classic stood up and walked over to Dream, placing his hands on his cheeks and asking him what was wrong. Dream smacked his hands away, and told him that Swap had been kidnapped by them through gritted teeth. Fell joined them on their feet and Dream snapped his fingers, teleporting them back to the Star Sanses Base.

He demanded that either of them teleport them to the au where the Bad Sanses lived. They both refused, they knew Dream trying to fight in this state would only end up in him getting hurt, and they didn't want to see that. But he insisted and screamed at them. Classic fell to the side, shrivelling up at the yelling and letting Fell take the lead in this conversation. Well, it was more of a screaming match than a conversation. But it ended with Fell teleporting them to the au and yelling at Dream to just do it, but they wouldn't help him. Dream brushed them off and pulled himself into the first open window he could see.

He landed on his feet and stormed through the castle, his weapons summoned and eyes cautiously trained around him. He made his way towards where the dungeon was, and passed through the living room. He now knew where the Bad Sanses were, and why they didn't immediately rush to kill him the second he broke into the castle. The entire gang-even Nightmare-was asleep in the living room. He saw Ink asleep in Killer's arms, lying on top of him and Cross cuddling into his side. He felt his anger dwindle, though only slightly, and he looked down at him with a look, quietly whispering that he was sorry.

He looked away, closing his eyes and taking a sigh. He opened his eyes and they almost immediately fell on the door to the cellar. Dream remembered why he was here, and he could feel his anger bubbling up again. He walked over to the door and threw the door open, somehow none of the Bad Sanses woke up from the loud bang. He ran down the stairs and opened every single door around him looking for Swap.

Dream's eyes lit up when he opened the door and Swap was sitting there. He, unlike the other sanses in the room, was awake and he looked up at him when the door opened. His eyes also lit up and they threw themselves at each other, hugging each other tightly. Dream apologised to him, blaming himself for the kidnapping and promised he would be better. Swap reassured him that it was all ok and that he just wanted to go home.

Dream's anger slipped away from him and he felt so glad that Swap was ok. But at the same time as his anger left him, so did his energy. He felt his head go dizzy and his vision go fuzzy. He leaned on Swap to hold himself up, and he asked if he was okay.

"I, yeah." Dream said, trying to get his bearings. "I think my negativity is starting to affect me."

"Here, let's get out of here." Swap said, helping him walk out of the room slowly.

Dream tried to stay with him, and stay awake but after only a few steps-they hadn't even left the cell yet-he passed out. Swap picked him up and carried him in his arms, trying not to alert any of the Bad Sanses he was there. He grunted as he carried Dream up the stairs and he barely made it to the top before he dropped him onto the floor.

"Aw, what a pathetic rescue attempt." Nightmare said angrily.

Swap looked up at him, panting and covering his lover with his own body. Nightmare looked tired, and he wasn't too happy that he was woken up from his nap. He winced and asked him to just let it go, but obviously Nightmare was not the one to let Dream go.

"Please Nightmare. He just wanted to help him, he didn't know what he was doing." Swap said, no, Swap lied.

"I know you are lying. He knew exactly what he was doing. You helped us fix Ink, so you may leave, but he will get exactly what he deserves."

Swap gritted his teeth and held Dream to his chest. He picked him up and tried to sprint away, But Nightmare's tentacles followed closely behind. Swap dodged them as best as he could but one of the tentacles hit him. He and Dream were flung against a wall with a sickening crack. Swap looked over himself, but other than maybe a bruise where he hit the wall, he was fine. His eyes fell down to his lover and he immediately saw blood starting to bleed through and stain his back.

"Oh my god..." he whispered.

Swap looked up at Nightmare, who had a sinister smile plastered on his face. He picked Dream up again and sprinted out. Nightmare let them go. He would kill Dream later, and he did owe Swap after all. He walked back over to the couches, and thankfully not a single one of his boys had woken up. They were Sanses, it was in their code to sleep, and they were extremely exhausted after all the stress with Ink.

He carefully picked Ink up out of Killer's arms, manoeuvring him to wiggle him out from his arms and not wake either of them up. He freed him eventually and held him in his arms, carrying him to the couch Nightmare was previously asleep on. He sat down and leaned against the comfortable couch. He let himself slowly fall asleep once again this time with Ink in his arms.

~~

Swap ran out with Dream in his arms. The cold winter air stung his non-existent lungs as he heaved. He kept running away from the house with Dream in his arms, not bothering to look back and see if Nightmare was chasing them. He knew he was. He was totally wrong, but he thought he knew Nightmare in the respect that he was not one to let them get away without a purpose. Especially when this was a perfect situation to pick them both off and wipe out the Star Sanses completely.

He just kept running, and running, and he wouldn't stop. Not even when he heard familiar voices calling out his and Dream's names. In his scared, worried, and exhausted state he couldn't tell who the voices belonged to, and he assumed they were that of the Bad Sanses, hunting them down.

Swap was suddenly stopped in his tracks and lifted into the air slightly. He looked down and his soul had been turned blue. His soul sank. Dust probably caught him and was the one to find him. He shook and just hoped it wouldn't be too bad for them.

He sighed in relief when he saw Classic and Fell use a shortcut to teleport in front of them. Classic lowered his hand and Swap slowly dropped onto the floor.

"Is he ok?" Classic asked.

"I dunno. He's bleeding. We were thrown against the wall and I think he may have broken something."

"Let's get outta 'ere. 'Snot really safe. I'll take us back to tha base."

Swap nodded , and Fell snapped his fingers, teleporting them back to the base. Swap carefully placed him onto the couch on his stomach, being able to see the blood staining the back of his clothes. He looked up to his friends and carefully rolled up the back of his shirt to see the damage.

Thankfully it wasn't his spine that was injured-if it was he could've had mobility issues for years to become-but it was his lower ribs that cracked. His golden blood was seeping out of the cracks, and his health was surprisingly low, lower than Swap had ever seen from him before.

"What do we do? I can't heal, I don't think either of you do either." Swap asked them.

"Nooo." Classic said. "The only person I know who can heal is my Toriel. I can take him to her if you'd want. My au is pretty chill with other aus."

"He'll be ok? She'll help him?" Swap asked.

"Yes. She's like your version of Asgore. She will take care of him. I'll take him to my au, kay?"

"Okay." Swap said, kissing the back of Dream's skull before stepping aside and allowing Classic to teleport them to his au.
