Dream's hand's lit up with magic and he leaned them up to his face. Ink tried to hit him away, but after a few rounds of that Swap grabbed his other hand and handcuffed it to the other side of the beframe. Ink continued to try and fight against him, but after his legs were also cuffed to the bottom of the bed, he had nowhere to go and no way to fight. He shook and fought against the restraints as Dream's hands started glowing again.
"Stop it! Get away from me!" Ink begged as Dream placed his hands on his cheeks.
"I am sorry, Ink, but this is for your own good." Dream said sadly.
Dream forced the magic into him, the tattoos on his body and face slowly tinting yellow with his magic. He struggled as the positivity and magic was painfully forced into his body. Ink started screaming, closing his eyes and allowing tears of pain to fall from his eye sockets. Every man in the room flinched and turned away from the screams, Classic and Fell even teleporting back to their au. But Swap and Dream kept going, they couldn't stop before they helped their friend.
Dream forced his magic into him and flushed Nightmare's magic out of his system. At least that's what he thought he was doing, he was actually just giving Ink a painful overload of magic. He was being overdosed on it, and it hurt. More than anything he'd ever felt in his life. His entire body ached and fought against the magic.
Dream knew he was helping him though, and despite how his friend begged and fought and screamed he had to do what was best for him. Ink didn't even know what he wanted, he was sure of that. Dream knew what was best for him. So he was going to force magic into him until his entire system flushed and all the pitch black marks on his body were glowing with the gorgeous golden colour of his magic. It wasn't the first time he had done it to him, he doubted it would've been the last. But it always hurts Dream to do this to his friend.
He watched as the tattoos changed colour, until every inch of his body was tinted with his magic. Ink screamed the entire time, until his throat was raw. But eventually he passed out, just like he did every single time Dream did this to him. The pain, the magic, they never knew why he did, but it was always a blissful release from everything happening. His body went limp and Dream continued on with his task, Swap at his side as they reassured each other that it was all okay and that they needed to do this to save him. Just like they did everything time before this.
They eventually finished and Dream leaned into Swap. He was weak, he forced all his magic into him and he had barely any left for himself. He just hoped that this would make him all better, and that he wouldn't remember anything that happened with them. They left the room, left their friend alone, to get Dream to bed to regenerate his magic. But they hoped that they did enough to save him from them, and from himself.
Nightmare stormed through his castle, scaring everyone else who saw him. They hadn't seen him this angry since Dream almost killed Cross, and they wondered what happened to push him over that edge again. They followed along behind him, trying to both calm him down and see what was wrong, but he wouldn't answer them. He kept walking, storming through the castle, looking for something. Someone. Error was here, and he needed him right now. He slammed his bedroom door open, and startled him as well.
"Boss? What's- what the fuck? Are you ok?" He asked, jumping up in his bed.
"They took Ink." He growled.
Everyone understood now why he was angry, and they themselves felt their anger and LV bubbling up inside him.
"Why are you coming to me though?" Error asked through his gritted teeth.
"I can not teleport to an au without negativity. Nor can I track Dream down. Find him. Use his code and track him down. Now." He demanded.
Error sighed and stood up. He used his magic to summon a screen full of code, searching through the seemingly millions of different sections and lines of it. He stopped on one line and pressed his finger into it. It pulled up a whole other screen, one filled with more lines of code, each a different facet of Ink. He skimmed through each line of his code one after the other until his eyes fell on one of the ones for his location. He pressed that one too, and it gave him a much closer synopsis of where he was, down to the house number, down to the literal xyz coordinates. He smiled sadistically and pinched said coordinates on the screen in front of him before pulling them out and throwing them to the floor. A portal opened up above them, one that led directly to wherever Ink was
He stepped throughout the portal, the rest of his angry friends following closely behind. They stepped into Ink's bedroom and their eyes immediately grew wide and their anger turned to worry. He was still handcuffed and his tattoos glowed with the colour of Dream's magic. They ran over to him and uncuffed him, Nightmare tried to pick him up, but the magic flowing through his body burned his hands every time he touched him. He drew his hands back and allowed Horror to pick him up instead.
They all jumped when Dream threw open the door and hit Nightmare with an arrow. He screamed out in pain, but yanked the arrow out of his chest and threw it to the floor. Killer and Cross both summoned their respective knives and got themselves in between their Boss and their enemy.
"Get him out of here. NOW!" He screamed.
Horror and Error jumped through the portal and closed it up, leaving the rest of them to fight. They didn't mind, they wanted to. Cross threw himself at Dream, trying to kill him, but he was thrown against the wall by his soul. Swap jumped in front of Dream and held Cross against the wall with his magic. Killer swung at him and he dropped Cross onto the floor and instead focused his magic onto Killer.
They fought each other, Cross joining in on dogpiling him while Nightmare and Dust ganged up on Dream. They traded blows, many of which destroyed Ink's belongings in the process. Though not a single person allowed the crossfire of their fight to affect his paintings. They all knew how important they were to him. In fact Nightmare even started pulling them off the walls and dropping them into his portals for Ink as he fought. He was angry, but he was here for Ink, not revenge. Mostly. They didn't see anyone winning this fight, so after everyone had landed a few blows on each other Nightmare grabbed his boys and teleported them home.
They all spent a few moments to recover and get their bearings before they all rushed to Ink's bedroom to check on them. The door was left open and they carefully walked in. They didn't want to disturb Ink in case he was awake, though as they looked into his room they saw that he was still passed out, wrapped tightly in the thick blankets. They walked over to him and crowded around alongside Horror and Error. Nightmare leaned down, Ink still burning his hands, but he used his own magic to try and flush out his system. It didn't work, not with how much positivity was forced into him by Dream.
Nightmare pulled away from him and shook his hands, as if trying to shake the positivity off. He looked down at him sadly and kissed his forehead, ignoring the burning pain and how his mouth glowed a painful golden colour from his 'brother's' magic. He pulled everyone out of the room, to give him space to rest. They were thankful to have him back, even after what was actually less than a few minutes for them. Time passed different yo in the different aus, so they had no idea how long Ink had been with them before they got him back. They hoped it was sooner rather than later. They hoped they weren't too late for him.
