A/N: This chapter is in Luke's point of view. I wanted to try something new. Let me know if you want me to switch off between Cal and Luke or just stick with Cal. Thanks for reading guys, I love you all!!! Also there is one curse word at the end of the story, just as a heads-up for those who care.

I woke up alone on the sofa with a half-eaten pizza box on the floor. I winced as the sunlight hit my eyes. I groaned and turned on my side, rubbing my eyes. My legs swung off the sofa as I dragged the rest of my body off, stumbling on the pizza box. I took two slices and walked towards the microwave and hitting one minute and thirty seconds on the timer. It felt like a hangover, but worse. I didn't have alchol to blame. As much as I would've love to forget about last night, I couldn't. I knew from the moment Calum had reached for his jacket, something was wrong. I had spent a lot of time thinking about it last night, replaying scenes over and over again and I could find nothing. Calum couldn't possibly be upset about Mikey right?

The beeping brought me out of my daze, indicating my food was ready. I brought out a paper plate and swung open the small door, dropping the hot pizza right onto the plate. I crashed onto my sofa once again and ate my pizza in silence. I didn't know the right time was to text Calum. Should I give him some space or ask him to talk to me?

Whatever I mumbled. I grabbed my phone which was still in my pocket and texted Calum.

Luke: Hey Calum. Are you alright? I got the feeling yesterday that you were upset

I set my phone down and stare it down hoping it would light up with a text from Calum. It finally did and I reached for it immediately, wiping my greasy hands on my pants.

Calum: Yeah i'm fine. I'm just busy right now

Luke: Are you coming to the library later?

Calum: No, i can't make it

Luke: Awww i'll miss you. See you tomorrow

Calum: Yeah, i'll see tomorrow

I pressed his lips together. Bruce came running from his bedroom and jumped onto the sofa besides me. I set down my phone and reached for Bruce, tickling his sides as he rolled over on my lap. "You're not mad at me right? Of course you're not." Bruce barked in response and I giggled.

"Feeding time huh?" I said, getting up and set my dog on the floor. Bruce ran over to his food bowl and sat wagging his small tail. "Okay, okay. I'm coming." I said, filling his water bowl before reaching into a cabinet and pulling out a bag of dog food. "Tell me when to stop," I said, letting the small bites tumble out of the bag. Bruce sat there, his tongue hanging out, eyeing the food. "C'mon Bruce you can't eat that much. That's good enough." I rubbed Bruce's head and pushed his bowl closer to him before Bruce nosily chewed on his food.

I heard my phone vibrate against the glass table. I set the bag down and headed over to my phone. It was a text form Mikey.

Mikey: Hey, what's up?

Luke: Nothing much. You?

Mikey: I'm with Meg right now. Wanna come over?

Luke: Yeah sure. I 'll be over in an hour.

I went over to Bruce. "Hey Brucey. Daddy'll be back in a couple of hours okay? Don't go crazy and bite my clothes again. I love you." I stoked his back, watching as he continued eating. I stood up and brought my neccesties with me before leaving.

I arrived at Michael's houese in time to see the end of a movie they were watching. "What's that?" I asked, scaring them both from behind.

"Jesus Christ Luke. Knock before you come in please," Meg complained.

"Why would I do that when I have the keys to this house?" I asked with a smirk, swinging the key chain on my finger.

"I don't know why you wewre scared Meg. You were watching Mean Girls," Mikey said, laughing.

"Shut up. WE were watching Mean Girls. Last time I checked, you wanted to see it," Meg said, swatting Mikey in the arm.

Michael's face grew red as he peeked a glance at me and put Meg's head in his arms. "You shut up Meg."

Meg pushed her way out of his arms and fixed her hair with a frown. "How's your studying going? I heard you've been going to the library every day."

"Yeah," I mumbled.

"What's wrong? Studying got you down in the dumps?" Mikey said sarcastically, reaching over to nudge me.

"Yeah it has actually. I met this guy named Calum almost a month ago and I thought everything was fine until yesterday," I replied.

I caught Meg stealing a glance at Mikey's reaction before responding, "Tell me everything. Come, sit." She patted a a seat next to her.

I sat down and told them about how Calum and I met and everything that led up to today, not everything, but the important stuff.  "So what do you think is wrong?"

Meg looked at me, her eyes wide. "Are you kidding me Luke? Why the hell would you still have a picture of him in your room," she said, pointing at Mikey,

Mikey frowned in response. "Hey, I don't blame you Luke. I'm quite the looker if I say so myself."

Meg rolled her eyes. "The answer is obvious Luke. Calum is worried that you might still be caught up in Mikey and using him as a way to deal. What kind of idiot leaves a picture of his ex in his room?"

"Yeah, that's pretty dumb Luke," Mikey said, playing with the remote control.

I groaned, my hand up to my face. "What should I do now?

"I don't know. If you really like him, you'll figure out some way to tell him the truth," Mikey said.

"He's right. You got this. We believe in you," Meg said, nodding and holding her hand out in a fist.

"I got this. I got this," I chanted. "I'll talk to him tomorrow."

"Yeah, you do that," Meg said.

"About that sequel of Mean Girls..." Mikey trailed off.

"Now you want to admit you like the movie?" Meg said, laighing as she put in the disc of the movie.

"Guys, I'm going to go. And by the way, Mean Girls 2 was a bit of a disappointment Mikey," I said, ruffling Mikey's hair before leaving.

When I arrived home, I immediately saw that the bag of dog food had been knocked down and pebbles of food were sprawled across the floor. "Bruce?" I screamed. I let the door slam behind me as I ran towards the kitchen. "Bruce?" I called out again. My heart beated so hard against my chest, I thought I was going to exploded. Tears had already begun to fill up the rim of my eyes. Shit was the only word on my mind. My breath escaped me when I saw a motionless figure on the floor in front of my bedroom door.
