The next day arrives faster than either of them were ready for. Joe gets himself dressed in jeans and a shirt, hopping into his car and leaving the hotel, taking the route to the house he's been to many times before.

Upon arriving, Joe parks and takes in a breath, holding it for a second before letting it out and shutting off the car.

He walks up to the front door, knocking three times and taking a step back.

Before long, the front door opens slowly and he looks down, noticing Addison's three year old sister, Autumn.

"Hi," Joe grins. "I'm Joe, do you remember me?"

She smiles, simply opening the door wider for him to walk in.

Joe takes a step in the door, grinning down at the little one and helping her close the front door. He locks it afterwards.

"Autumn! What did I tell you about opening the door without me with you?!" Addison scolds, jogging down the stairs.

"Joe!" She says, pointing at him.

Addison sighs. "I know it's Joe but next time it might not be. Go upstairs and play with your Aria!"

Autumn nods, running up the stairs to go play.

"Hi," Addison says, looking at Joe.

"Hi," he grins.

A whine comes from the back door, followed by scratching at the glass door.

Addison sighs, a small smile playing at her lips as she turns on her heels and opens the back door.

Porky rushes in, excited. He gets a drink before realizing Joe's there and running at full force towards him.

"Hey bud!" Joe exclaims crouching and greeting Porky as he licks and jumps all over him.

"He missed you," Addison says.

Joe smiles up at her and she swears her heart stops for a moment.

"Want a drink?" she asks.

He stands, allowing Porky to calm a bit as he does. "Sure, water?"

Addison nods slowly, getting him and herself glasses of water before handing him one.

"Thank you," he says, sitting on one couch as she sits on the other.

"So, you wanted to talk."

He nods, gulping and setting his glass on a coaster.

"Yeah, um, you seem to be doing well," he says.

"Um," Addison starts, being cut off by Autumn barrelling into the room.

"ADDIE!" she screams, tears in her eyes.

Addison turns, her brows furrowed. "What's wrong?"

"Aria hit me," she says, pouting.

Addison gives her a look. "Autumn, we've been over this, okay? Aria doesn't know any better," she says, leading her back upstairs and looking at Aria. "Aria, we don't hit okay? That hurts. Ouch!"

"Ouch!" Aira copies.

"That's right," she nods, leaving the two of them and going back downstairs. "Sorry."

He grins. "That's okay. It happens. Do you always watch them?" he asks.

She shakes her head. "Oh, no. They have a sitter but I was gonna be home today so I told Jenna I'd watch them."

He nods. "Gotcha. You were saying..."

"Oh, um," she gulps, avoiding his eyes. "I'm okay, I guess. I um, I'm different, but okay."
