Following Joe down the stairs and into the foyer where everyone is greeting each other, Frankie immediately greets Joe, giving a hug which catches his parents' attention and they greet him as well.

"Um, mom, dad, Frankie, this is Addison," Joe grins, gesturing to her.

Immediately, the three of them greet her with open arms... literally.

After a few moments, everyone moves into the kitchen and living room area, gathering around the island and beginning conversation.

"Where's Nick?" Joe asks.

"He should be here any time," Denise states, grinning.

Joe nods. "He's not really the one to be late."

"His plane was late getting to him," his dad responds.

Joe nods. "Ahh."

"So, Addison, tell us a little about your family." Denise says.

"Her family's a little complicated, mom," Kevin says, butting in for her and Joe.

Denise raises her eyebrows, looking from Kevin to Addison. "Oh? I'm sorry to hear that."

"It's alright," Addison says, letting out a small sigh.

"What's going on?!"

Everyone turns, Nick walking into the room.

"Uncle Nick!" Alena screams, running to him, Valentina close behind.

He greets them before greeting his family and turning to Addison.

"You must be Addison."

She nods. "Yeah, hi."

"It's nice to meet you," she smiles.

"Did I interrupt something?" he asks, looking around.

"We were just talking to Addison about her family," Denise says, grinning at her son.

"Oh really?" Nick asks, looking over to Addison again.

Addison nods. "Uhh, yeah. So, I actually lived in Texas for most of my life until almost two years ago when I ran away to California. My family was... different. There was so much expected of us, we didn't really have a choice in how we lived our lives and I didn't like it. So, I ran away. And after that I was disowned from my family until I learned that they actually weren't my family at all."

"Oh," Denise gasps. "Really?"

Addison nods. "They um, abducted me from my biological parents when I was a baby and got away with it. Which after I learned, it made a lot of sense. I was never quite like the rest of my quote on quote family. It was nice to finally know why. So, I cut contact with who I thought was my family, except for my so-called sister who's now simply a best friend. And I found my biological parents, so, I guess you can say things worked out."

She grins before opening her mouth again. "Well, except for the part where my biological parents were robbed of my childhood and basically know nothing about me and vise versa with me not knowing anything about my real family but I gained three little sisters from it, so that's a plus."

Joe chuckles, shaking his head slightly.

"That's... a lot." Nick says.

She nods. "Yeah, it's been a stressful few months."

"This has all happened within the course of a few months?" Denise asks, shocked.

Addison nods. "Yeah. I actually can't thank Joe, Kevin and Dani enough. They've really been so supportive through all of it."
