Chapter 44

Jay’s POV

I woke up fairly early the morning after we all went to the park. The rest of us had lost the babies so we went back to the bus and grabbed pizza on the way. We just had a movie night on the bus and went to bed a bit early because we were on the road soon.

Everyone was up except Soph and they had gone to get breakfast when we stopped. I was instructed to stay here so that she wouldn’t wander off when she woke up, because according to Tori, she had a tendency to do that if no one was around.

“Just a note saying ‘I’m out, be back soon‘.” were her words of choice.

I decided to take out the flip and get some footage of the bus for this weeks flip. Turning it on, I waved and told them what was going on at the moment and said that I would give them a tour of the bus.

“So here are our bunks.” I said as I walked towards the back of the bus.

“This is mine, Tori’s, Nath‘s,” as I said each name I showed their bunks. “Seev’s, Tom’s and Soph’s.”

As the camera landed on Soph’s I noticed her foot was hanging out slightly from under the curtain.

“Yep that one’s definitely Soph’s. We always know which one Sophia is in since her foot or hand is hanging out from the curtain.” I said as I laughed and turned the camera back to me.

“Let’s see if she’s actually asleep or just awake and lazy.”

I took the camera and put it slightly under the curtain. God that was a bad idea…

Sophia’s POV

I was sat in my bunk on my laptop working on emails and polyvore sets to send out for the upcoming shows when I saw a blinking red light that I knew belonged to the flip camera peeking under the curtain. No face, just the camera.

“Bird, what on earth do you think you’re doing?” I asked as I looked at the camera.

All that was heard was a short scream and some cursing from Jay. He obviously didn’t know that I was awake and wasn’t expecting a response. I started laughing as he ripped the curtain back glaring at me still holding the camera at me.

“Karma will be restored!” he hollered to me as he walked back to the head of the bus.

“Whatever Bird!”

Going back to my work, I realised that if I was going over to London for the demo then I’d need someone to work the collection. Picking up my phone, I dialled Tori.

“Hey Soph. What’s up?” she answered.

“Nothing much. I just need to talk to you when you get back.” I answered a bit preoccupied with emails and pictures.

“I’ll be right there!” she all but screamed down the line before hanging up on me.

Weird.

Tori’s POV

I was talking to Soph and she said that she needed to talk to me.

“Oh god!” I shouted as I sprinted around the corner to the bus.

The rest of the boys were dumbfounded but I didn’t care at this point. I burst through the door of the bus with the rest of them right behind me.

“SOPHIA ANNA AMATO!!!! WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN!!!” I yelled as I found her making a cup of tea calmly in the kitchenette still in her pajamas.

“When did what happen?!” she asked after she jumped out of her skin.

“When did you find out???”

“When did I find out what???”

“That you’re pregnant!!!!”

“She’s what?!?!?!” Nathan yelled from next to me while looking at Sophia like he was about to pass out.

All she did was burst out laughing. What the hell?! What game was she playing?

“You thought... that when I called... I wanted to tell you that I’m pregnant!!” she exclaimed between laughs.

“Yeah!”

“Tori,” she said as she walked up and put an arm around my shoulders. “I’m not pregnant. I wanted to ask you if you could run ‘Seven’ while I’m doing the demo.” she said still laughing a bit.

All the boys as well as Jayne, Kevin, and Martin flopped down somewhere while exhaling.

“Damn! Don’t scare me like that again!” I laughed as I pushed her off me.

“All I said was that I needed to talk! That usually doesn’t translate to ‘I’m pregnant’.”

“Well the way you said it!”

“I was working on emails and going through the run through pictures. I wasn’t exactly focusing.”

“Ugh! Just don’t do that again! And yes I will do that for you.”

“Thank you Tori! And sorry for the scare!” she said as she went back to her tea mug that was on the counter.

“Well, now that that’s cleared up, who wants to eat?” Siva said as he got up and started getting everything out.
