A long, but hopefully good, chapter. I don't own Omori.

Now that Sunny is out and about, he and Hero are ready to leave the hospital and go back to Sunny's place. However, checking out comes first and so the pair head to the front desk of the hospital. As they wait in line Sunny and Hero see Liz talking to one of the staff members. When they were next, Liz notices the two and smiles.

"I assume that Sunny is leaving?" Liz asks.

Sunny nods in confirmation. Seeing this, the receptionist next to Liz begins typing something on her computer. Hero places the documents he signed on the counter and the receptionist takes it and glances over the papers that were given. After a few more moments of typing and reading the receptionist nods.

"Looks like you're ready to leave Sunny. Don't get into trouble now."

Sunny nods and Hero smiles.

"I hope you and Aubrey will find joy and happiness." Liz said. "Remember, there is always someone out there to lend you a hand and I think that someone is right behind you."

Sunny and Hero look behind them to see Aubrey waving towards the two. She walks towards them with a bunch of flowers in hand. Aubrey also has the biggest of smiles on her face.

"Thought I would take the plants out of the room." Aubrey said as she hoisted some of the plants. "It would be a shame to leave these here."

"That's a good idea." Hero said. "C'mon, let's go back."

The teens nod and follow Hero out of the hospital. The moment Sunny took his first step on the concrete, he squinted from the sun hitting his face. It's been quite awhile since he's been outside, granted it was nowhere as bad as of the last couple of days. Aubrey takes notice of this and chuckles from Sunny's reaction.

"C'mon you two." Hero said, beckoning the two. "I drove here so we can save the trouble of walking."

With that, the teens make their way towards Hero's van. Aubrey quickly took shotgun while Sunny calmly takes the back seat. The drive back to Sunny's place was silent, but relaxing. No one said a word, but it wasn't needed as everyone gets a wave of relief.

"So Aubrey, what did you do at Sunny place?" Hero asks.

Sunny raises his eyebrow as surprised to know that Aubrey manages to even enter his house. Sunny checks his pockets only to find his keys missing. Aubrey notices this.

"We took your house keys so we can tidy up the place a bit before you go back." Aubrey said. "Here're your keys."

Aubrey reaches behind her and drops the keys on Sunny's lap. As Sunny tries to put his keys back into his pocket, Aubrey leans into Hero while he's distracted.

"Hey Hero, there was a voice message that you have to see." Aubrey whispers.

They hit a red light and Hero turns to face Aubrey with a look of worry.

"There was a voicemail. Several of them." Aubrey whispers as she keeps an eye on a struggling Sunny. "From his mother."

The car jerks suddenly which scares the two teens.

"Sorry about that." Hero apologizes with a nervous laugh. "This van is pretty old."

Sunny nods understandingly and groans a bit after dropping his keys somewhere.

"How bad was it?" Hero asks while tryouts to keep his voice low.

"I don't think Sunny should know about this." Aubrey said. "This is...scary. I don't want to say it here."
