Hope everyone is ready! I'll say once and I'll say it again, I don't own Omori.
Aubrey and Omori lay motionless on the ground. Omori has taken a blow to the neck by Aubrey's spiked bat. Aubrey, on the other hand, was punched by Omori in the stomach which dealt more damage than she thought.
"Ugh.." Aubrey groans. "Why does it hurt so much? This should be a dream."
Aubrey manages to push herself up and as she does she coughs blood. Omori also gets up and puts pressure on his neck as blood squirts out. Luckily for Omori, the black mist closes his wounds. However, his body is aching from the constant attacks.
"Damn it all." Omori groans as his bones crack as he moves his joints. "This pain is not unbearable, but it sure is annoying."
Aubrey grips her bat and uses it to hoist herself up. She glares at Omori who's also glaring at her with a smile on his face. The stairs, the bathroom, the uneasiness she felt from Sunny's room. It was all Omori.
"I don't get it." Aubrey said. "How come you're in my dream?"
Aubrey looks up to see Omori missing. However, living as a wild child, she could sense danger in difficult situations. In this, Omori was trying to get her from behind and so she swung her bat from her front to her back. As assumed, Omori was right behind her and so he raised his arms in an attempt to block Aubrey's attack. However, the nails still pierces his forearm and Aubrey overpowers him. Still, the knock back wasn't much and Omori punched Aubrey in the face which sent her flying. Aubrey easily gets up, but she has taken an unusual amount of damage as blood drips from lips and nose. Aubrey coughs and as she does so, a tooth falls from her mouth.
"Damn bastard." Aubrey curses as she wipes the blood off her face.
"You took the words right out of my mouth." Omori growls. "Getting in your mind was pure luck and here I thought it was going to be an easy win."
Omori wipes the blood off his face and spits out a tooth. He then cackles much to Aubrey's surprise.
"Before, you were wondering how I was able to enter your dream." Omori said. "Want to listen?"
Aubrey refuses to acknowledge Omori's words and charges towards with her bat raised. However, she trips and falls to the ground. Aubrey looks on the floor to see a black root sticking out of the ground and tangling her foot. Omori walks over to Aubrey and looms over her.
"So, I don't expect someone as thick headed as you to understand, but traumatic events can be contagious." Omori begins. "Can you think back to when this might have affected you?"
Multiple events pass through Aubrey's mind. Omori expected a vocal answer, but instead came face to face with Aubrey. She managed to break out from his tendril. She throws a punch at the doppelgänger, but Omori catches her fist and twists her arm causing to hiss in pain.
"Basil and Sunny both have told you about the events of trauma in grave detail in great detail." Omori explains as he holds his grip on Aubrey. "They both told you about Mari's death and Sunny explained to you about Whitespace and Headspace."
Aubrey suddenly overwhelms Omori in power and begins to twist his arm. Omori's arm dislocates to counteract Aubrey's attempt to do the same to him.
"Yeah, so what?" Aubrey asks as she looks at Omori's arm who's joints are grossly sticking out. "If you don't experience it, then it's impossible to have it."
After Aubrey finishes her sentence, she kneels on the floor and swipes her leg on the ground to knock Omori over. While she successfully knocks down her enemy, Omori disappeared and reappeared on his feet in the most supernatural way.
