Year and a half later...
"Congratulations on graduating!"
It's been about two years since Sunny and his friends made amends with each other. Now, they have all officially graduated from high school. Sunny and Aubrey have invited their friends: Kel, Basil, Hero, Kim, and Robin, to their place for a graduation party from noon till dusk. Normally, the teens would want to go crazy, but Hero and Robin were supervising the party as well as attending. Still, it wasn't like the small group of friends will get bored.
"C'mon Hero!" Kel yells as raises a plastic cup. "Bring out the good stuff!"
Kel was quite successful on his side. During the past year or so, Kel continued his journey of playing high school basketball. In fact, he was considered one of the best in the school. The group would come to his games when they could. In a school interview, Kel has said that his success as a basketball player was thanks to his closest friends, but when asked directly, they all denied and simply said he has skills. Now, thanks to his hard work and dedication, Kel now can get into some colleges that have well versed basketball teams.
"I hope you mean Orange Joe." Hero sighs giving Kel a nasty look. "Cause that's the best you're getting."
Hero has been doing quite well now that the pain of Mari's death ceased from him. Now that he was able to move on, Hero's mood has changed for the better with him visiting Faraway more often and spending more time with friends and family. He has even got back into cooking much to everyone's joy. Hero is still working on his degree, but only has another semester left to go. He has also decided to focus on mental health so he can help other people similar to how Sunny was. He's also dating Robin which was pretty obvious to everyone around him. Everyone was pretty proud of Hero since this was proof of him moving on.
"C'mon bro. You know I'm talking about Orange Joe." Kel laughs. "What did you think I was talking about?"
"I'm pretty sure we all know your real intentions." Basil said, sighing.
Basil has improved drastically over the time. Over time, Basil began to grow more social over time and began making friends outside they're little circle. As the months go by, Basil has decided to study in the field of botany. Basil's reasoning was simply that there is so much more he wants to know about what he likes.
"C'mon, we've just graduated. Can't we have one drink of alcohol?" Kim asks with a heavy sigh.
"I don't care if you had liquor in the past, but you're not having any tonight." Ashley said as she rubbed Kim's head. "I'm not looking after drunk teens after dark."
Kim has also done well over the last two years. After the few months after the incident, Kim has cut connections with the other Hooligans with the exception of Vance. Rather than getting a higher degree in learning, Kim wants to look for job opportunities regarding hair styling or cutting. After all, Kim's after the experience rather than learning from a professor.
"Basil, persuade Ashley." Kim begs as she slumps into the living room couch.
"But, I don't really want us to drink either." Basil said with embarrassment in his voice. "Besides, we should try to make memories rather than getting hangovers."
Kim clicks her tongue to Basil's response.
"I hate it when you're right." Kim groans.
Most people assumed that Basil and Kim would get hooked up since they were in the same club and always hangout with each other when the others are busy. They were even partners on prom night. Still, both deny any romantic relationships and would rather put their time into other things instead of romance. Besides, Kim doesn't want to be like a love struck Aubrey.
