Hercules x reader ♡ pt.1

Scenario: Poseidon being protective older brother

"Hercules is a demi god?" y/n mumbled to herself as she walked along side with poseion, her twin brother, but nothing alike.

"Don't even think about it, y/n." Poseidon glared down at his sister, not wanting her to marry a demi god.

"But you don't even have a wife, so what makes you think you're in charge of me?" y/n glared back at poseidon

Poseidon and y/n were firecrackers when they argued. Well Loki got between them, and the twins knocked him out like nothing. When things got heated, the twins would literally fight with each other until one of them got tired of it and apoligize, which does't really work out because of their monotone voice.

"Are you seriously going to argue with me again?" Y/n stepped closer to poseidon, but he didn't listen because he saw the red headed demi god behind them, so poseidon shook his head no and dragged y/n to another room with the other gods since they have a meeting.

y/n shook her head and sat down in her seat, but she seemed to notice how Loki didn't look very pleased. Poseidon gave y/n a glare as a warning to not ask what was wrong with Loki. But as the meeting went on, Loki started to look more and more annoyed.

"Is there something bothering you, Loki?" Y/n stared at Loki, and he went off.

"It's no fair that I have to watch the stupid little kids with a demi-god!! Why can't you make Hermes do it or even Buddha watch them?!!?" Loki yelled, and y/n thought about it, but she knew that poseidon would

"What do you mean by you have watch kids?" Y/n asked out of curiosity

"Long story loki was messing around with a village and lead the children into a forest where they all got lost. Now he has to find them all." Shiva grinned ear to ear

Odin and Thor were annoyed the most because the trouble never seemed to stop coming their way. However, it was better than what he was before.

"I wouldn't mind helping." Y/n randomly said, and poseidon slowly turned to her and glared at his sister. After all, she had nothing to do other things than find humans. All the gods stared at her with shock and a bit of weariness as y/n did not seem like the type to be good with kids.

"Eh? Are you sure y/n?" Aphrodite calmly asked since knowing she was Poseidon twin...did not really seem like a good idea

"I don't mind helping!" Hercules smiled as he stood up from his seat while Loki's dramatically sighed and lazily stood up to lead them where he lost the children. Y/n stood up from her seat and glared at her brother before following Loki and Hercules. The walk was quiet and well, awkward. Loki nor Hercules didn't dare to utter a single word.

"So, how many children did you exactly lose in the forest?" Y/n's monotone voice made Loki nervously raise 7 fingers showing how many were lost.

"Well how about we split up so it'll make it easier to find them?" Hercules suggested clearly trying to break the tense atmosphere

"I agree. I'll go this way." Y/n mumbled before walking into the forest

The sun was setting and getting colder, y/n was humming a melody as she walked. Until she heard sniffling and tiny voices, she turned her head and found the 7 kids Loki lured. She inhaled softly and approached them in a careful manner so she wouldn't scare them.

"Don't be afraid, I'm here to help you." She softly said with a kind smile, she slowly held her hand out for the child to take.

The child took her hand hesitantly and came out of the cave as well, she hummed a melody as she lead the children out of the forest, but the sudden cry of an infant made her stop and slowly turn around. The child had to at least be 7 years old holding an infant. "Please.. don't be mad at his crying.." the little boy trembled, however y/n softly smiled and held her arms out for the infant.

"Don't apologize for the infant crying young child." She softly spoke and she cradled the infant, y/n took off her cloak for the shaking child and wrapped it around them. As they finally reached the village that Loki told her about, she let the children run back to their homes, but only the little boy and infant remained.

"Do you not want to take the infant and go home?" Y/n asked the child

The boy shook his head with fear in his eyes then looked at his infant little brother, y/n's softened and looked at them. "You don't have a home?" She asked

"We did but....I left it with my baby brother..." The boy spoke timid

"Now why's that?"

"My mother would disappear all night or sometimes days...we don't have a father either, so it's mostly me and my baby brother at home." The Boy explained while avoiding eye contact

Y/n looked at the infant and the boy, "how about living with me?" She looked down at the infant with a gentle smile.

With Loki and Hercules

"Sooooooo....where did y/n go?" Hercules asked Loki who was mumbling about how Poseidon was going to murder him for losing his sister. The Demi god sighed and sat on a rock nearby wondering where y/n went, surely she wasn't lost, her of all people couldn't just get lost that easily.

Suddenly a humming melody can be heard, Loki and Hercules snapped their head towards the sound and found y/n humming while one arm was holding an infant while the other held the hand of a little boy who was wrapped in her cloak. Loki yelp and floated towards her with horror, his soul practically withering away at the sight of her with the 2 children.

Hercules watched her with a fluttery feeling in his chest. He had never seen y/n with her guard down like that before, he'd always seen her as an exact copy of her brother Poseidon.

Y/n softly shushed Loki, "quiet, the baby is sleeping." She mumbled.

The 5 of them now walked into her and poseidons castle, her high heels clicked as she took each step. She turned to Hercules and held the baby up to him, "can you hold him and Loki, watch this child. Im going to speak with my brother." She walked towards his study

Well it has been quite a long time since i wrote this book. With confidence i can now write.
