Poseidon, Zeus, hades were having a celebration at Zeus's palace for Poseidon's birthday which he did not want to celebrate, hades was bored out of his mind watching everyone smile and laughing. Zeus had to practically beg hades to come to the party and hades had nothing better else to do. Zeus was blabbing away to both him and Poseidon who were sipping wine and watching everyone dance.

Y/n was siting by Aphrodite, she had no idea how she ended up at a party of all things. The sound of singing filled the party hall, the smell of fruits filled the air, and the gods dancing with one another. Y/n was the Japanese god of death, a shinigami. Attending parties wasn't something she didn't like as it was too loud for her liking.

"I don't know why you dragged me over to a party, KNOWING i do not like it." Y/n muttering a bit upset. Aphrodite lightly laughed and nudged y/n to look over where hades was sitting, "you may not like the parties, but look who is sitting there."

The timing couldn't be more terrible, both hades and y/n made eye contact. His lavender colored eyes stared at her like he finally found something with staring at, y/n had a blank stare at him as if hades himself didn't catch her interests.

"So, you dragged me out here to hook me up with your uncle...." Y/n's eye twitched as she turned towards Aphrodite

"It has been eons and he still has no wife nor children." She smiled at y/n, the mischievous smile y/n roll her eyes

"Then i am taking my leave, I prefer being alone then be stuck with hades." Y/n stood up and walked towards the door.

Y/n took this chance to take her time walking, the sound of her feels clicking against the beautiful tiled floor only made the place seem bigger. Her black cloak covering her body was barely touching the ground, however she couldn't shack the feeling of as if she's was being followed. She kept her composure and kept walking, ignoring whoever was following her. By the tine she reached the outside of the palace she stopped as sighed.

"Instead of following me, how about you just show yourself." She turned around and only to be met with hades standing there looking at her. Her eye and lip twitched, she didn't know why hades got on her nerves so easily.

"Was it that obvious?" He calmly said as he took a step forward making y/n take a step back.

"I'd prefer you being over there and not in my space." She bluntly said, her face full of annoyance

"My you are short tempered, what brings you here to the party? It's not everyday I see a death god with the god of love" Hades looked at e/c colored eyes, mesmerizing yet fulling killing intent.

Y/n stood there with a confused look, opening her mouth to say something nothing came out. "Wait, you thought i was asking for LOVE advice?" She said as muttered clearly confused by his wording. Only one person knows how y/n is around people it's Aphrodite, and y/n was never a talker due to her not really putting emotion into her speaking.

"What was that? I couldn't really hear you" hades smile and began walking towards her, he's been very curious about her since he saw her

Y/n was too stuck in her head trying to understand why hades of all the gods to approach her. "Let's start over, I'm hades and you are?" He looked at her with a calm expression, meanwhile y/n just sighed and nodded her head in acknowledgment. "My name is y/n, now can you leave me alone?" Her e/c eyes stared into his purple ones

"Well, would you care to join me at the party again?" Hade held his hand out, although she did like the party y/n found his presence rather enjoyable than she thought. She nodded her head and hesitantly took his hand, was cold but got warmer as she held his hand.

The 2 walked into the party and joined the party, a lot of eyes were on them with surprise as most of them made a path for them to walk to the center of the room. Soft melody music was playing, y/n put her hand on his shoulder as he put his right hand on her waist then suddenly everything felt brighter and colorful.

"What brings you to this party?" He asked while looking at her eyes

"Aphrodite pretty much had to drag me to this party, although parties aren't my favorite thing to attend." Y/n shook her head in a disappointed matter

"Aphrodite is quite insistent, so i believe you on that. Zeus had to drag me here as well." Hades lightly laughed

Y/n's face felt warmer, a small smile on her face made hades feel something inside. Maybe his presence wasn't as bad as she thought.

On the sideline Poseidon and Zeus were watching both gods of death dancing, although Zeus was surprised that hades would actually talk to someone instead of sitting down being miserable like Poseidon.

"Those seem to be getting along." Poseidon plainly said

"I agree, it'll be good for him!" Zeus exclaimed

All night hades and y/n stuck by each other and talked, it felt nice to be able to talk to someone who isn't always asking about when they will ever get a husband or wife, but it seems they found their batch on their own without realizing it.

"You know, you're actually good company, hades." Y/n hummed as she leaned on the railing looking at the sky

"I can say the same thing, y/n." He looked at her, admiring her beauty

He slowly took her hand and wrapped his arm around her, her eyes looking at his with love. Not only she didn't pull away, but leaned into him. He gently lifted her head and kissed her, not forced but it was passionate.

Y/n softly wrapped her arms around him as he kissed her, unknowingly Zeus and Aphrodite silently cheered for the 2 that naturally found themselves together.

Y/n gently pulled away and smiled at him, maybe this party was worth attending. He had brought a side out that she didn't know she had, these last couple of hours showed what kind of person he was.

Hades never knew he could fall in love that easily to someone he only met, but in his eyes, she is perfect. Same interests and same type of energy.

That was a night they will never forget.
