"Isn't this mine?" I heard the woman. A scowl on her face as she flipped through the book. Seven hundred and fifty nine pages of hand written notes and alternate ways of recipes. I scowled back at her, rubbing my eyes.

"It's not." I lied.

"I have been writing in this since I was twenty years old, Blaire!" She pursed her red lips at me.

I shrugged at her. "Your point?"

"Your such a liar." She accused taking pink leather bound book. "Little theif!"

"I just borrowed it-"

"Without my permission!" She pitched. And then sighed. "I was so worried that I had lost it, oh my Goodness, Blaire!"

"I'll give it back to you!" I argued. "You need to chill."

"Chill?" She scoffs. "I wouldn't have said no if you wanted to borrow it or photocopy it or whatever!"

"I'm sorry, Blaire." Coralyn sighs. "It is too special to me, I was worried and sad."

"That's fine." I shrug. "I should have asked you. I'm sorry."

"Mmm." She agrees. "I started this one when I young. It has all of nona's recipe in it." She says sadly. A glum cloud of pain covered her features. "It's the only very personal thing of her I have."

"I'm sorry." I repeat. I knew Coralyn was close to Roman's great grandma. However, I had no idea she was so connected to her still.

"Anyhoo." She waves her hand before swiping her cheeks, making me realize that she was shedding tears at whatever memories. "I have knitting books too if you want-"

I grimaced. "Thank you." I didn't have the patience to do that. My concentration power bounced back faster than my WiFi signal.

Knitting and crocheting was something I wasn't fascinates about. Ariel on the other hand-
