Roman and I shared a meal that night.

Just a meal. We had dinner while he wanted wine with his lamb dish, I settled for iced water.

I've rarely had lamb before but this one was just singer licking good.

He talked to Angelo over the phone for a while before disconnecting the call, making some more, tapping away some message and that's when I finally had it.

"Can you put your phone down?" I asked, my left palm cupping my neck while the elbow rests on the table and I was looking at my plate while I worked with my fork.

He didn't listen to me.

And then again he never does.

I waited a minute or two more waiting for him to put his phone down but he was still tapping away.

"Roman." I cleared my throat.

He looked at me with an eyebrow raised up, his dinner barely eaten, almost as if he forgot about the damn food.

"Can you put the phone down?" I ask. "You've been at it since dinner."

He places it face down. "Why puppy, would you rather I pay attention to you?"

"Ha. Ha." I mocked rolling my eyes.

"Pay attention to that damn food, Roman. You phone won't keep you from hunger." I add.

He smirks picking up his fork and working on the lamb meat.

"I think, I should go see Ariel." I say out of the blue, missing my best friend, even though I just saw her yesterday

Plus I need some smuggles to chase my unhappiness away.

I really miss going at the club.

Now that I think, I liked the attention that I got from shaking my barely there tushie.

I should start working out to plump that arse.

"You saw her yesterday." He says. "It's not safe, you going to her and coming back to me. It'll cause her danger."

"She's lonely, Roman." I say looking up at him, no expression given, he just eats looking at his plate.

"She needs people around her or she'll have an episode."
