The next day, I woke up after one in the afternoon feeling my sweat matting the linen sheets to my body.
Groaning, I turned to the other side of the bed and reached out for the pillow that used as a body pillow.
"Jesus." I muttered hot from the afternoon heat. "This is fucking hot."
Never mind my ranting but London doesn't have the perfect weather in the world.
I'd be surprised if the sun came out. The only thing London has in cold wind whipping and rain falling like an asshole.
But I was accustomed to of living there all my life. Italy was fucking hot. Like Hot. The sun was out at five thirty by ten the outside would be almost dazzling with sunlight.
It sucked, maybe they can talk among themselves and make the weather adjustable on both sides?
Who am I kidding? I've gone bat shot crazy, I swear.
Sighing I sat up on the bed stretching my arms above my head as the house maid entered my room.
The same drone one. I an yet to know her name. But I don't bother honestly. She's no fun.
"Good afternoon, Miss Anderson." She said in a monotone. "You slept past breakfast again. Don Roman said you can take the day off from your work."
I snort sighed falling on my back. The maid kept the laundry on the edge of the bed and collected the dirty cloths from the hamper. "Boss also mentioned that Donna Coralyn would like for you to join her in the kitchen."
"Can you leave?" I asked rudely.
"You're very rude, miss Anderson." She said blankly. "But I'll leave once my work is done."
I rolled my eyes and groaned into the pillow.
This women...is the epitome of disturbance and I have no idea why can't I stand her the fuck!?
After brushing my teeth and a shower later, I dressed myself in a light blue dress, courtesy of Donna Coralyn, I suppose, she is the only person with a decent taste around here, I walked down to the kitchen.
Mind you, I knew where the kitchen was cause I didn't get my snacks delivered into my room, so I took the matter into my own hand.
In the kitchen, Donna Coralyn was standing behind a counter, using cold water to rinse a good digit of fresh plump, strawberry.
