Never before in Beth's life had she felt violent. Never had she felt like ripping someone into pieces and rid this world of them, until now. She felt her body tremble with a temper that left her with hardly any self control.

Pure hatred emerged from the deepest depth of her heart. She failed to locate the one she hated most between the two persons that were approaching her slowly. Her eyes fell on the woman who held a confident look as she walked with a gait that displayed pride. She faked a falter in her step and two mascular hands held her to stop he from falling. Beth almost puked at the drama that was unfolding in front of her. Her heart sank as memories of those hands on her body flooded back in her mind. She lifted up her eyes and fixed them on the blue orbs that she so missed deeply but hated to admit.

A sudden storm of emotions she'd been experiencing for the past six days since her hospital release attacked her. She thought she was ready to forget, but thruthfully she wasn't. She couldn't maintain her still posture whilst facing him. Her knees trembled and weakened. Her mind lost track of everything else around her except magnified memories of the hurt and loss she'd suffered recently because of him. Beth felt herself falling backwards but suddenly found herszelf leaning against a hard chest.

'You're stronger than this Beth. Stand still and face them.' Prince whispered in her ear.

Beth gulped the naseous mixture of emotions and forced herself to stand firmly on her two feet. She prayed silently for strength.

'Elisabeth, pleasure to finally meet you in person.' Bianca said with a sarcastic tone.

Beth felt the sudden temptation to grab Bianca by the throat and slam her pettite body into the nearest wall becoming more and more urgent.

'The feeling's not mutual.' Beth answered.

Her head raised quickly and looked at Dex. She felt like a fool as she looked at him. How could she have been so stupid as to lose sleep over this man with all the pain he'd caused her when he in turn hardly looked affected in any way.

His face betrayed no sleepless nights as hers did. Where her eyes had obvious dark bags under them, his didn't. Where her skin looked neglected and unhealthy, his looked flawless and well looked after. Their appearances were as opposite as day and night.

'I need to say something and leave. I have a lot on my schedule.' Bianca said snapping Beth out of her thoughts.

'I don't care about your schedule. Just  do what you came here to do.'  Dex  said. Beth tried to get her mind to pick up on what exactly was going on. The two people that had walked form Dex's car with agreeing features on their faces now seemed to be close to killing each other. Bianca shrunk in humiliation from Dex's harsh tone with her.

She walked up to Beth with undecided steps then stopped in front of her.

'I heard what happened that day when I-- when I answered your husband's calls. I'm sorry, it was my fault he didn't get to you in time. It was a childish thing to do and I-- I regret it.'

If it wasn't so that this woman was one of the reasons her husband had hurt her, Beth would've laughed at the scene playing before her. Gone was the prideful look Bianca had been wearing before. Now she was struggling to maintain her confidence with each word. Beth knew she had been forced and it was no sincere apology.

'So you know he's my husband, yet you continue to cling to him like a lost puppy?' Bianca openned her mouth intending to serve Beth a piece of her mind but Beth stopped her.

'Bianca, do yourself a favour. Pick up your two feet, turn around and make your way out of my sight this moment before I rearrange your face.'

Both Prince and Dex looked at Beth with amused shock on their faces. Bianca looked like she'd been slapped in the face. She looked to Dex for rescue.
