Beth finally threw on a pair of Denim shorts and a slightly long shiffon top after trying some other items that were a bit too tight fitting or not to her liking.

'Is that appropriate for college?' Dex asked placing his hands on her hips.

'Hands off. It's your fault that I'm running late as it is. And yes, I can wear whatever I want.'

'It's a tutorial period baby. You don't really miss out on anything there. Besides, you could've have turned me down or thrown me out of the shower, but you didn't. So don't entirely blame me.' He said with a wink at the end. Beth wanted to retort to that but her husband was right.

Truth be told, it was crazy even to her because they were having too much sex, but in the moments they both had no control. They both couldn't keep their hands off each other. She blushed thinking of the things Hayley and Cheryl were encouraging her to try. She'd tried some of it and at first she was clueless with no confidence. Now she felt differently about it all thanks to her husband's response to her efforts. He made her feel like a vixen. It was good because that was one way of knowing him more. Actually, the most intimate way to know him.

The things he liked most and least were known now only to her. The same could be said of her to him. There was a side she herself was surprised existed in her, and she only showed it to him. It made her happy knowing that he was the only man that knew the ''sexy and daring'' side of her a Dex called it.

'You're running late for work too.' She reminded him but he didn't seem bothered.

'I don't have work today. That top barely covers your arse and it's see through. And aren't those shorts meant to be mid thigh or something close?' Dex playfully squeezed Beth's butt and she jumped up slighlty. 'Let it go Dex. Just stop it.' She said with a little laugh. Dex kissed her temple and let go. Her shorts were actually mid thigh and the shiffon top a little over the knees. She wouldn't waste time arguing the obvious with her caveman.

'Bye babe. See you later.' She said kissing him quickly on the lips before running out to her car. That afternoon after college, Dex came to drive her back home in her car.

Days later, Beth just came from college as usual took a shower first. Instead of doing her assignments or studying like she'd normally do, she went in the one room that had become her solace when she needed to isolate herself and think. Her late daughter, Emily Jessica's memorial room. She thought about life, her life to be specific. In the past few months since she'd lost her pregnancy, life had turned around for her. There was still an irreplaceable void from the loss, but she was also happy. She was happy with her choices since then and where they seemed to be taking her.

She was happy she was working towards her dream of being a marriage counsellor, she was beginning to learn to trust and love herself again and accept the mistakes she made in the past. She had forgiven herself for letting her heart be broken in the first place. She forgave herself for the loss of her child which initially, she partly felt was her fault because she chose to sleep with Dex knowing he didn't love her. When she agreed to give it another try, she'd not been sure of herself. Now she was and she didn't regret it. She was scared, yes she was because the future wasn't known. But the life she was living now gave her hope.

Days of peaceful and easy life where she didn't have to fight to be seen or heard. Being considerate of her now came naturally to Dex, and her giving love to Dex came naturally too. She would've never thought herself useless, but just having Dex prioritise and value her input in his life and future plans made her feel more appreciated and needed.
