Elizabeth POV

Everything between Lewis an I are great this weekend we'll be a year together.

One Saturday I told mama about Lewis and she invited him for dinner. Mama and Lewis hit things off really well. She adored Lewis and from that day they hit it off pretty well.

Julie and I have become close. Lewis mother is still not a fan of me, and reminds me of that every Time I'm over at their house. But I don't really mind since I'm on a good foot with everyone else in the house.

I practically moved in with Lewis. Rose and Henry are doing so well, Henry even told Lewis he wants to perpose. I'm really excited for them.

There's no engagement on my part, but I think it's better like this, I want to enjoy Lewis a bit more and I want to become independent first before I settle down.

But Lewis did give me a promise ring

My brother actually got a better job offer in Dubai, so he and his family moved there last week.

"you done Beth?"

Rose helled from her closet

"just touching up on my make up"

Because it was my birthday rose said she had something planned for today. This morning Lewis bought me roses and a necklace for our 1 year anniversary and my birthday.

I didn't know what rose had planned, but she said look cute and casual. So I opt for a cute blue sundress that stopped mid thigh and sandels since it was hot out in Chicago

"okay I'm done"

I said walking out her room grabbing my bag.

We went to the park, there on the green grass, was a blanket with two glasses of champagne and snacks.

"I thought we could have a cute lunch, picnic"

She smiled

"happy birthday bitch"
