When I replied to Beth's text it said not delivered.
I then tried calling her but nothing.
I started getting worried. I didn't want to alarm anyone yet.
So I walked out. Looking down the street for her but nothing. When I went back inside hunter ran to me asking where his mother was. I reassured him. I then walked over to the boys.79
"hey, where's Beth, I haven't seen her?"
Micheal asked.
"I think something is wrong"
I said not sounding to worried.
"what's wrong?"
Donny asked.
"it's Elizabeth...."
"what's about her?"
Elliot asked. Sounding impatient by cutting me off.
And then I explained to them. I showed them the last message to.
"I tried calling her, but it immediately goes to voice mail."
I said.
"try again"
Micheal said.
And so I dialed her number again
"nothing"
I said.
"fuck we need to find her."
"where did she say she was?"
"she didn't. She just said he was driving in the part of twon that didn't loo fimiliar as a short cut"
I said.
Just as they scurried away Mrs S came to me.
"what's going on?"
She asked looking at the boys walking out the door.
"uhm. N.... Nothing"
I said.
"don't lie to me darling"
She said.
Fuck I said mentally.
"okay don't panic. But we can't get ahold of Elizabeth"
"what?"
She said loud so that everyone looked at us.
"what's going on?"
Williams family came over.
Fuck I said again mentally.
"I'm sure it's nothing to worry about"
"did so thing happen go William or Elizabeth?"
Penelope, Williams mother asked.
"she said she can't get ahold of Elizabeth"
Mrs S answered.
"what?"
She asked.
"what does that mean.?"
His father asked.
"I'm sure it's nothing. Her phone probably died.she did say she was on her way."
I said.
"who? Who's on her way?"
He asked.
"fuck"
