Elizabeth POV.
I sat in the car for a couple of minutes before getting myself together and putting the car in drive.
I seconds later I was on the rode heading home.
At this point in the drive I was starving.
Just then I heard a funny sound coming from my left back side of the car.
I pulled over got out and walked to the back.
"well fuck my life"
I practically screamed.
My back tire was flat.
Talking about worst day ever.
I then stood there looking up and down the road looking for cars. And Nothing. Not a single soul in sight, just a bunch of bush, trees and farms.
I then got in my car to phone my insurance then William and look what we have here.
No fucking signal.
I then closed my eyes trying to remains calm and sain.
But that didn't fucking help.
So I screamed and hit my hands repeatedly on the steering wheel.
"God please give me patience"
I kept saying while breathing.
I then took my heels off. I got out the car and walked over to the trunk. I then got the spare out and the tools.
I was going to do this on my own in the heat with a huge ass stomach.
I then assembled the jack and placed it under the car. I the pushed the leaver up and down until the wheel was a few inches off the ground.
I almost gave up on unscrewing the nuts because it was so damn tight.
Just then I car came.
"thank you Jesus"
I said uo to the heavens.
The car stopped and out came a man round about my age.
"need any help?"
He said coming over to me.
"yeah, please. I need to change the wheel but can't manage to get the nuts loose"
I said sounding defeated.
"I'll give you a hand"
He said then started loosinging the nuts.
"where you off to miss? "
He asked me.
I then told him the story.
"yeah I know I'm stupid"
I concluded.
"I don't think you stupid. It's just pregnancy brain, especially of how far along you are. Plus it's a humanly mistake"
He said genuinely.
"but now I feel bad for not attending one of our best friends wedding."
I said.
"they should understand"
I just nodded. Minutes later he was done.
"thank you so much.... ?"
"Oliva"
He said
"thank you Oliva."
I said looking in my purse for somthing.
