AUTHOR POV
"Mommy, Daddy, wake up!" Leo says cheerfully
"Leo, it's too early! Go back to sleep" Owen said
"But I want to see if Santa came last night " Leo said and shook Amelia's arm to wake her up
"Leo it's 5:45 in the morning" Amelia said still half asleep
"but please I love you so much and you are the best parents in the world,I want to see my presents" he said and made his parents soft eyes
"You always know how to get what you want " Owen said
"It's Christmas, so we have to wake everyone up go get auntie Mer and auntie Maggie with Winston and your cousins " Amelia said and Leo run outside of his parent's room
"Merry Christmas my love" amelia said and kissed Owen passionately
" Merry Christmas babe " Owen said and kissed her back at the same time Liam started to wake up
" Good morning sweetheart" Amelia said and kissed his head
"Hi!" Liam said and smiled
"You're so cute" Owen said and started tickling him and Liam start laughing and Amelia look at them and can't wait to give Owen his present
"Mommy daddy! I woke up everyone so now we can go downstairs" Leo said
"Okay, but first come here so we can all have a hug together" Amelia says
"Merry Christmas" Leo said to his parents and brother
"Merry Christmas boys " his parents replied at the same time then they left the bed and went downstairs
"Merry Christmas guys" Amelia and Owen said as they joined everyone downstairs
"kiddos you can go and see if Santa Claus came in the night" Mer said and all the kids ran to the Christmas tree except Liam who didn't really know how to walk yet so they put him down and everyone started to open their presents and Amelia put her head on Owen's shoulder "I can't wait to give you your present" they both said at the same time and laughed
AMELIA POV
"Can I give you your presents first?" Owen asked
"Yes, of course, even if you didn't have to give me anything" I said and kissed his cheek.
"There are four presents, and I'm saving the best for last" he said and went to the Christmas tree and picked up two boxes and handed them to me
and I opened the first box and it was a beautiful diamond necklace "oh my god it's beautiful thank you babe" I said and kissed him softy
"You're welcome! Open the second one" he said and with a smile I opened the other box And it was a black Gucci bag
"oh my god Owen this is the bag of my dreams thank you very much!" I said
"You're welcome, but thank your sisters too. They gave me the idea" he replied and put an arm around me and kissed my cheek
"So thank you to all three of you! I love you tremendously".
"We love you too" they all 3 answered then I opened the last box and it was 4 plane tickets to LA
"I know you miss your friends so I talked to them and we decided to organize this trip for you. We're leaving in 3 days and we'll spend New Year's Eve there! Is it ok for you?" "You're kidding! It's the second best gift thank you very much" I said and gave him a hug
"Don't talk too fast, I'm not sure it's the best gift ever... You still have one to open" he said and I looked up confused
"Leo go get mom's present" Owen said and he went upstairs and a few minutes later he came back with an envelope in his hand and handed it to me
"Sit down mommy and open it" Leo said and I listened to him and sat down on the couch. I opened the envelope and I started to tear up when I saw that it was Leo's adoption papers
"you are the best mom in the whole world and normally you don't choose your family but you chose me, you chose to be in my life when I was only 5 months old And I couldn't have wished for a better mommy.
You are already my mama but now you will be my mama on the papers too . I love you" Leo said and I cried even more
"I love you too my son! And you are one of the best things that happened to me in life. Thank you,thank you,thank you for this gift and also for choosing me as your mom" I said and took him in my arms I raised my head and mouthed at Owen "I love you" he grinned and mouthed back "I love you too"
After Leo continued to open his presents and I said to Owen
"thank you babe for all this but now it's time for you to open your presents! You have 3 gifts and ...I'm saving the best for last! "I said and paraphrased what he had said earlier and got up from the couch and took his presents
"open them" I said and handed him the first box and he opened it and it was a new
Macbook
"oh my god Amelia ! thank you" he said and hugged me
"you're welcome" I said and kissed him
"open this one now" he opened it and it was a huge box with lots of presents, shirts, a new pair of shoes and a perfume
" you're crazy for giving me all these gifts but thanks you so much babe you're the best I love you! "he said and kissed me
"I love you too ! but it's not over" I said
"what!! did you get me something else?" he asked
"yes I'll get it" I said and chuckled , I got up from the couch took Liam in my arms and we went upstairs.
"Okay little guy, it's time for the big surprise now" I said and dressed him up in a
T-shirt that said "Do you want to be my daddy ? " and I had an envelope with the adoption papers.
Once he was dressed I went back downstairs and before entering the living room I put Liam on the floor and told him
"go to daddy" and he crawled over to him and I watched the scene half hidden behind the wall
" Hi baby!" Owen said and took him on his lap I waited for him to notice and then I saw his face light up "Amelia! are you serious?" he said and I saw that he had tears in his eyes
"Yes I am! you have been there for him for over 6 months! You take care of him and you love him and he loves you too! He smiles every time he sees you and he chose you to be his daddy! Yesterday at the store he saw a picture of you on my phone and he called you "dada" and then he kept saying it over and over again so will you be his daddy? " I asked and Owen got up with Liam in his arms and took me in his arms too "yes, yes, yes a millions times YES'" he said and kissed me passionately "thank you" he said and we were both crying...well maybe not just us
" You have to make me cry twice in 10 minutes, I cried like when I watch Titanic" Mer said and we all laughed 
after we both signed the papers me those of Leo and him those of Liam and now we are the happy parents of two little boys ...
