OWENS POV

Today was Amelia's birthday so I got up and started to prepare breakfast a few minutes before I heard someone approaching 
"Dada?" Olivia asked.
"I'm in the kitchen Lulu" I said "you have to speak softly because mommy is sleeping in the living room".
"Mmk" she said and I picked her up
"Hello sweetie" I said and kissed her cheek
"mwning dada" she said
" can I help you make breakfast" Liam asked
"Sure, come here" I said and put him on the counter next to Olivia.
"What are you cooking ?" he asked
"I'm making pancakes" I said "Here, mix it up, but slowly".

"Can we go wake up mom for her birthday?" he asked
"Yes, come on, let's go" I said and took the tray and we went to wake up Amelia and I saw that Leo and Ava were snuggled up with their mom, it was very cute
"Happy birthday mama" Liam and Olivia said
"Ohh thank you babies" Amelia said
" Happy birthday mama " Leo said
" Happy birthday mama " Ava said
" Thank you my loves " Amelia said
" Happy birthday to the love of my life " I said
" Thank you babe " She said and kissed me
"Stop that's yucky" the kids said
"Hey do you know how you were conceived?" Amelia asked and I laughed.
"No," they said.
"Well, you'll never know," I said
11am
"Amelia?" I asked.
"In the laundry" she answered and I went upstairs
"I have to go somewhere I'll be back in about 40 minutes" I said
"Ok where are you going?" she asked
"I can't tell you, it's a surprise for your birthday" I said
"Owennnnn, you know I don't like surprises!" she said
"Yes I know but you'll like this one" I said
"Oh and don't forget that the girls have their dance class tonight" she said
"I don't understand why they're already dancing, they just turned 2" I said "and they started at 18 months old, they could barely speak at the time".
"You have to start early if you want to be good" she said "and they love it and who knows in a few years we'll go to their dance competition?
"Sometimes I can't keep up" I said
"Stop lying I saw you last time in the dance studio you were so proud and happy to see your girls having so much fun" she said
"Ok maybe you're right" I said "damn I have to go or I'll be late".
"Ok bye I love you" she said
"I love you too" I said, get into my car and drove to the airport and picked up her surprise or rather surprises

AMELIAS POV
I was home with the kids and Riley started to cry
"don't cry sweetie mommy is here" I said and I cradled her in my arms and she looked at me with her big blue eyes even though she looked a lot like Owen she had my eyes...
"Riley loves mama right ? " I said and she smiled
"Yeahhhh another one on my team, 3 to 2!" I said and I heard someone knocking on the door which was weird because Owen had his keys but I went to open it and it was
"Charlotte?" I said surprised.
"Hi!" she said and I hugged her and that's when I saw her, I saw them all, Addie and Jake, Sam and Naomi and Cooper
"Oh my God" I said.
"Happy Birthday!" they all said and hugged me.
"Thank you, you don't know how happy I am to see you" I said
"You don't know how much we missed you" Addie said
"And this is Riley" I said to them
"awww can I hold her?" Addison asked.
"sure" I said and placed her in his arms "this is your aunt Addie"
"She's so beautiful" Addison said and touched her little nose
"Can I hold her next?" Naomi asked "and me too?" Cooper asked
" Everyone can hold her, she's your niece, you don't have to ask me" I said
"Thank you so much" I said to Owen and snuggled into his arms.
"You're welcome babe" he said

Now we were all having lunch together.
"After this I'll show you to your rooms," Owen said.
"Did Alex clean up the mess he made in his room last time?" I asked Owen.
"I don't know" he said
"Alex lives here?" Addison asked.
"No but if jo works and Mer also he comes to eat and sleep here so he assigned one of the guest rooms as his own" I said and chuckled
"oh I see typical Alex" she said
" Ava come here ! " Cooper said
"I'm not Ava" Olivia said
"hey lulu be nice" Owen said
"Sowwy uncle cooper" She said
"It's okay sweetie" He said
"How do you tell them apart?" Sam asked
"Well, since we're their parents, it's easy for us" I said
"How would we know, because they must be upset when people got their names wrong" Naomi said
"yes they hate it but don't worry guys even we sometimes get it wrong...but for example Olivia has deeper dimples than Ava's, Olivia has a rather round head and Ava rather an oval face and Olivia is a bit taller than Ava" I said 
"Oh okay and who can tell them apart?" charlotte asked.
"People very close to us like Owen's mom, my mom, Maggie and Winston, Meredith with Zola, Bailey and Ellis, Alex and Jo" I said
" I can !" Addison said
"Callie and Arizona too, April but Jackson still has a hard time" Owen said
"and even their kids can tell them apart?" Sam asked.
"Yep, most of them," I said.
"If little kids can do it, I think we can do it too" charlotte said
"In not even two days you will be able to it's very simple maybe for you now they are exactly the same but actually not at all they are very very different" Owen said
"Yes it's true but be careful sometimes they can play with that and make you go crazy" I said
"What do you mean?" Jake asked
"They look very similar and if you're not careful you can confuse them very easily and they have learned to use it to their advantage , like for example two weeks ago at daycare there was a birthday party and it was one cookie per child, Olivia didn't want it so they switched dresses and came back so Ava can have two cookies" I said and everyone laughed
"you two had very joking children" Naomi said
"who noticed that she switched out their outfits?" Jake said
"When I picked her up after work and saw that Ava was wearing Olivia's dress and Liam told me about it too" I said
"They're going to drive us crazy one day." Owen said
