AMELIA POV
"Hey, I'm going to pick up my mom at the airport," I said.
"Okay, no problem! But you look stressed." Owen said.
"That's because I am, even though my relationship with my mom is getting better and better I still have a little apprehension" I said and he got up from the bed and hugged me.
"Everything is going to be fine and if she criticized you and talked badly to you before, well, I'm here now and I won't let her" he said
"You are the best! I love you" I said and kissed him
"I love you too" he replied
"Are you sure you're going to be okay alone with the 4 kids?" I asked
"Yes don't worry for once the twins are asleep and Leo and Liam are playing so everything will be fine, go get your mom and when you get home lunch will be ready" he said
"Thanks you,see you later" I said and left our room, said goodbye to the boys, made sure the girls were sleeping and left for the airport.

"Amelia!" my mom said and hugged me.
"Hi mom" I said
"Omg I haven't seen you in a while, I missed you" she said
"I missed you too" I said
"I haven't been here in a while so tell me a little bit about what happened!" my mom said as we got into the car
"Well...the last time you were here I only had 2 kids and now I have 4 and we moved too, to a huge house that is way too big for us but it's still beautiful and fits us well " I said
"Oh I can't wait to see this house but the most important thing is the kids and Owen of course" she said and then we drove to the house
"Guys, I'm home and grandma's here too!" I said and heard the boys rush downstairs.
"Grandma!" Leo said and my mom hugged him
"Hi Leo! I missed you sweetie and you too Liam" she said and kissed their heads
"Hi Carolyn" Owen said and my mom hugged him
"Ok so you weren't lying to me when you told me this house was huge!" she said and Owen and I chucked
"But it's very well decorated" she said
"Oh with Amelia and all the money she put into it,it must be well decorated" he said and I pinched him
"Typical Amelia when she was 14 she spent her life in stores doing shopping and took all my money" she said
"Yeah that sounds like her" Owen said and one of the twins started to cry.
"You want to meet one of your granddaughters ?" I asked.
"Of course" she said and we went up to their room
"It's crazy how much they look like you, the same face, they are so beautiful!" she said with Olivia in her arms.
"Everyone says that," I said and chuckled
"I brought back a little gift for each of you guys, can we all go downstairs so I can give them to you?" My mom asked
"Sure mom, but you didn't need to..." I said
"Shh you are my family so of course I needed to spoil you" she said
"Thank you mom" I said
"That feels good" she said
"What?" I asked
"To hear you call me mom" she said
"You are my mom and even though I don't say it much I love you" I said
"I love you too" she said and hugged me
"You can go downstairs and I'll go get the boys " I said and she left with Olivia in her arms and I took Ava and went to get the boys.

"Thanks for all the gifts granny!" Liam said
"you're welcome angel" my mom replied
"Okay so could you all go get dressed up...because I'd like to do a photo with the 6 of you, I need to update my frames" she said
"Now?" I asked.
"First we eat and then if you want of course!" she said
"Yes there is no problem Carolyn " Owen replied
"Mom, I forgot to tell you, Meredith asked me if you wanted to go to her house for dinner tonight so you can see your other grandchildren" I said while we start eating
"Yes, of course I'll go, are you coming too?" she asked.
"No, tomorrow the boys have school, that's too bad" I said.
"It's okay, but before I leave we'll have to have a family dinner all together " she said
"Speaking of family, are you limiting yourself to the one that lives in Seattle?" I asked.
"Yes I won't invite your sisters don't worry I know how mean they are to you, but don't get mad because I told them you had two little girls and I sent them one of the pictures you sent me" she said
"Oh, and I don't even want to ask what they said back" I said taking another bite.
"Well Liz answered and said "they are beautiful and I hope to meet them soon" and the other two didn't answer" my mom said and I felt bad for Liz, she was the nicest of all my sisters and I admit...I missed her
"You are thinking !" my mom said
"No, it's nothing, don't worry," I said.
"Thank you for this meal Owen it's really delicious" my mother said
"Thank you Carolyn" Owen answered, after that we finished the meal and we spent the afternoon with my mother until she left for Meredith's place around 6pm
