chapter 11

AMELIA POV
We were still under the rain forehead against forehead,it felt natural,it felt great,it felt familiar.
"I missed you," I said.
"I missed you too babe" he said
"Can you take me home please" I asked
"Of course,come with me" he replied and held out his hand, I took it and we went to the car hand in hand
After a 15 minute drive we arrived at Meredith's house as soon as I opened the door Leo jumped into my arms
"Mama! I missed you today" he said as he hugged me
"I missed you too angel" I said and gave him a kiss on the cheek. I walked into the living room and saw Meredith and Maggie, they hugged me and then we all ate together.
"You look so happy !! it's because of the result of the trial" Maggie said
"I'm very happy today" I said smiling while looking into Owen's eyes, yes I was happy because of the trial but I'm even happier because of those kisses exchanged with Owen.
"Amelia?" Meredith asked
"What?" I said.
"Can I talk to you? " she asked
"Sure" I replied
We got up from the table and went into the playroom.
"Please tell me something happened between you two" she said
"What, what are you talking about" I said
"Because if nothing happened I'm going to get mad, you two are made for each other and it's a waste that you're not together, Amelia I'm your sister I know what's good for you and he's good for you, I told him the same thing earlier so if he didn't put you up against a wall to kiss you and rip off your clothes I'm going to kill him" she said
"Mer ! You are disgusting" I said
"But I'm right" she said
"Yes you're right" I said and her face lit up
"So he put you up against a wall and rip off your clothes ! "she said and I laughed
"No but he told me he loved me and wanted to be with me, I felt exactly the same so we kissed" I replied
"Oh my god I'm so happy for you guys, you can finally be together" she said and hugged me
"Yes omg Mer ! It felt so good to be with him again" I said smiling
After that we went back to the kitchen and finished eating
"What were you two talking about? Maggie asked.
"Nothing." Meredith and I answered at the same time.
"Oh come on! Tell us? "she asked.
"Yes mommy tell us" Leo said
At the same time Liam started to cry
"Duty calls" I said and left the table to go to his room I took him in my arms to calm him down.
"Hey sweetie, you saved me from a weird conversation with auntie Maggie you know" I said and he giggles "funny for you but not for your mom"
after 10 minutes he finally fell asleep and I could leave his room and to my surprise
Owen was behind the door
"Hey" he said
"Hi" I said
"Is he ok? "he asked
"Yes, don't worry," I said.
"Good, because Leo wants to be with you" he said
"ok, come with me" I said and we went back down to the living room
"Mommy,daddy ! " Leo said to us
"Hi sweetie" "daddy said you wanted to see me, what's up? "I asked.
"Can you read me a story in your bed tonight? "he asked
"Of course I can" I replied and took him on my lap
"Thank you mama" "Can daddy come too? "
"You're welcome and yes, of course he can come! "

"And they lived happily ever after" I said while having an arm around Leo who was between me and Owen.
"Are you also going to live happily ever after?"Our son asked us
"What are you talking about angel?" Owen asked.
"In the book the prince kisses the princess and then they have children and they love each other until the end of time! Will you also one day be like the princes and princesses?" Leo asked
This surprised me but made me smile and Owen too, we looked each other in the eyes and I decided to speak first
"Well, we have something to tell you, you will be the first, well the second person to know that... "I wanted to finish my sentence but Owen cut me off and said
"I'm going to treat your mom like my princess and I'm going to love her until the end of time" Leo's face lit up like a Christmas tree so I looked at Owen and took his hand in mine
"Is it true? "Leo asked.
"Yes it's true" I replied
"So we can go back to the way we were before, my mom and dad in love ?"he asked
"Yes my love, we are together again" Owen said
"I am so happy" he shouted
Owen and I started to laugh but Leo always seemed to think!
"What are you thinking? "I asked him.
"Well, in fairy tales and Disney movies the prince kisses the princess" he said
"You want me to kiss your father right? " I asked.
"yes" he answered
"I think I can do that! "I said as I moved closer to Owen and kissed him,during that kiss I felt butterflies all over my stomach it felt so good to be around him again
"yayyyyy!" Leo screamed while clapping his hands
As I pulled away, we started laughing at Leo's reaction it was so cute!
"You're so cute baby" Owen said and kissed his head
"I'm not a baby" Leo exclaimed
"You'll always be our little baby" I said, he smiled and asked "Can I sleep with you two tonight?
"Of course," Owen and I replied at the same time.
I turned on the TV and put on The Lion King, our favorite Disney movie and snuggled up to Owen and our son was in the middle of us and captivated by the movie. I looked at Owen and whispered in his ear,
"I'll love you too until the end of time" he smiled and kissed me and that's how we spent our night, all three of us snuggled up together.
