AMELIA POV
It's been a few days since we came back from vacation and life is back to normal. Tonight is Christmas Eve and we're spending it with all our friends, and tomorrow we'll go to Owen's mother's house for lunch and we'll go to my mother's house in the evening
"Good morning babe" I said and kissed Owen.
"Good morning" he replied
"Today's the day!" I said excitedly.
"Hey I still haven't said yes" he replied
"Come on! You can't say no to me, and the kids will be more than happy" I said
"I don't know Ames , it's a lot of work and you know I'm not a big fan of dogs" he said
"I know you're lying...I know you,you love dog especially labrador and please, we've been talking about this for a long time, and I've always dreamed of having a dog" I said and he thought for a few minutes

"Fine ! " he said and I jumped on the bed with joy
"Thank you so so much, I love you" I said
"I love you too," he said
"I'll drop the kids off at Maggie's and we can go adopt one" I said
"I'm fine with that but do you want a big dog or a little dog?" he asked.
"I want to adopt a puppy but later on I don't want a big dog" I said
"Okay so we are adopting a labrador,get up and get ready and let's go!" he said
"You see I knew you were going to be excited to have a dog" I said as I got out of bed
"Maybe...a little puppy is adorable " he said and chucked

"Amelia we're going to be late!" Owen said down the stairs and as always he, Leo and Liam were ready and waiting for me.
"I'll be there in 2 minutes!" I shouted from the bathroom.
"We are here" I said as I walked down the stairs with Ava and Olivia in my arms.
"As much as I want to yell at you for making us late, I have to say that my three girls are beautiful," Owen said and kissed the twins' heads.
"and my 3 boys are handsome too!" I said and Owen kissed me and whispered "and my wife is hot tonight!"
"you are too,can't wait for us to be alone" I whispered back
"okay kids we're going to auntie Mer's house" I said and we got out of the house and drove to Mer's house
1hour later
"Where the fuck is April?" meredith asked.
"She said she was on her way" I said
"she's the one who's supposed to be cooking... what if she doesn't show up at time!" she said
"Calm down, at worst we'll eat later than planned, it doesn't matter" I answered and put my hand on her shoulder to calm her down
"Thank you Amelia" she said
"I am here, I'm sorry I was in surgery and so I was out late,Jackson and the kids will be there in about an hour " April said a few minutes later
"It's okay, don't worry about it, but it's a good thing you're here because without you we wouldn't eat anything" I said.
"I know you're all good in the OR but you're not good in the kitchen" she said
"That's true" I said
"How long will it take to prepare dinner? Mer asked
"About 2 hours...sorry" April said
"Don't apologize, it's not your fault...I'll call the others and tell them to come later" Meredith said and I left the kitchen to go see the kids and Owen because I wasn't much help in the kitchen anyway
"Is everything okay here?" I asked as I entered the playroom.
"Everything is perfect auntie amy!" Zola said and she was the only one who called me that, like Derek used to do
"Ok kids I'm going to go with Amelia, bye" Owen said and approached me "Thanks for coming, I was close to turning into Princess Owen"
"Let me guess, Ellis!" I said.
"Yes," he said and laughed.
"She loves to do that, but I think you would have looked cute as a princess," I said and kissed him.
"I don't think so" he said and I kissed him again
"You can't do that" he said
"Do what?" I asked and kissed him again
"You know very well, but we can't do that here" he said
"No one's here except April, and I missed you...you've been working for two days and I haven't seen you" I said "and then there's always my old room" I said and bit my bottom lip Owen looked at me and picked me up and kissed me and we went upstairs to my old room
"Just like old times" he said and put me on the bed
"I missed it" I said

"Where were you two?" Meredith asked
"Um, we were talking," I said.
"Yes, we were talking about tonight's gifts." Owen added.
"You don't know how to lie, we don't talk for an hour and a half and I hope you made your old bed again, Amelia" Mer said
"Yes don't worry, is everyone here?" I asked
"Almost...as always Bailey is late but they are coming soon and dinner is almost served" she said
"Okay." We said and went into the living room
