Owen and Amelia had returned from LA five days ago, now they were in the kitchen having breakfast and for once they were alone, the kids at school, Maggie and Meredith at work and on top of that she had taken Liam to the daycare
"It's good to be just the two of us" Amelia said
"Yes, and the silence is good too" Owen said and chuckled
"I'm too excited for today, how many houses are we going to visit today?" Amelia asked
"5 and more if we don't find the right one and it could be complicated because we want the perfect house" Owen answered
"I admit that we are a bit complicated but it shouldn't be that hard to find a house with at least 5 bedrooms including a master bedroom, a big kitchen, a big living room, a big backyard and of course a swimming pool" Amelia answered
"Watch a worldclass neurosurgeon be so naive but don't worry babe we will find our dream home!" Owen replied
"Okay so we're going now! I don't want to be late" Amelia said and they left

Owen and Amelia had been looking for houses all morning
They had visited four houses in all but each time something went wrong and now they were on their way to visit the fifth
"I'm sick of it, Owen! I didn't think house hunting was so hard, I want to find a perfect place for our family but I'm starting to lose hope" Amelia said and sighed
"Hey don't be so negative, we still have one more house to look at and the previous houses were just not for us! But maybe the 5th one will be the right one" Owen said to reassure Amelia and she smiled
"Maybe 5 is our lucky number" she said
"Maybe 5 is our lucky number" he repeated
A few minutes later they arrived in front of a sublime house
"Wow Owen it's much bigger than what we planned to have but it looks beautiful!" Amelia said
"Yes, it looks great" Owen replied
"Oh believe me it is as you can see this house is located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood and also very secure, for your children there are also playgrounds with slides, swings and from this house you have a beautiful view on an artificial lake...Follow me!" their realtor said and took them inside the house and made them do a tour of the house...after that he said
"I'll give you a few minutes to talk " And walked away
"Oh my god Amelia I love this house" Owen said happily
"Me too Owen! There are 5 bedrooms and a huge master bedroom, the basement is huge, it even has a movie room it's amazing...the backyard is big, we have a beautiful view and the neighborhood is super nice the only thing is that there is no pool and it's more expensive than what we wanted to put for the house but Oh Owen I think this is the one" Amelia said
"we can get a pool built later and don't worry about the price, we're both surgeons and we have money so we can afford it. This house is amazing and it's made for us! I can totally see us raising the boys here welcoming a new baby and ending my life here with you!" Owen said as he looked Amelia in the eye.
"So we can buy this house? "Amelia asked and smiled
"We're going to buy this house" Owen stated smiling at her,he picked her up and spine her around and we laughed
" I am so excited" Amelia said and kissed him
"I love you !" Owen said to Amelia and kissed her back
An hour later they had already signed the papers and got the keys to their new house, they picked up Liam and went to pick up Leo from school and go for ice cream to tell them the news
"Ok boys, we told you we were moving and today your mom and I went to see a house and we bought it" Owen said
"will I get my own room?" Leo asked.
"Yes sweetie, the house is huge and you are even going to have a playroom" Amelia replied
"Really?" Leo asked.
"Yes and besides it has playgrounds in the neighborhood!" Owen replied
"Yay! I can't wait to move in and see the house" Leo said cheerfully
"We'll show it to you now finish your ice cream and let's go!" Amelia said

"Daddy! Mommy! I want to have this room!" Leo said excitedly
"Sure and if you want we can go shopping and buy you a new bed and lots of decorations" Amelia said and Leo looked at her like she was crazy
"I love you mommy but I prefer to play soccer with daddy" Leo said and Owen laughed
"I want a girl" Amelia said and Owen laughed even more
"you know that even if we have another baby there will be a 50% chance that it will still be a boy" Owen said and Amelia said
"no it has to be a girl! But we'll see when the time comes"
"Dada!" Liam said and pulled owen's jeans to get his attention and Owen hugged him
"Are you happy to be moving buddy?" Owen asked and Liam giggled
"We'll take that as a yes!" amelia said.
"Well now we are going home or technically our old home because we need to start packing" Amelia said and put on her coat
"Already! When do you want to move in here?" Owen asked
"Owen, I'm in love with this house and I'd like to move in here in two weeks" Amelia said
"Okay so let's go and get started" Owen said

During 2 weeks they made many boxes, Owen assembled the big furniture in the new house and Amelia, well Amelia made shopping a lot of shopping and redid all the rooms, bought a living room, new decoration and also redid all the wardrobe of the boys...
And today was the moving day, the movers had brought all the boxes and new furniture in the new house and it was a big mess what Owen and Amelia had noticed
"We really have way too much stuff" Amelia said
"Yes and you also did a lot of shopping" he said
"Yes and well thank me because thanks to me our house will be very well decorated!" Amelia said
"You're right, thank you Mia" he said.
"You're welcome and I think it's time to get started" She replied and kissed him
They spent all day moving into the new house, fortunately Alex, Jackson and Wiston helped Owen with the furniture and Jo, April, Maggie, Arizona and Mer helped Amelia with the decorating!
It was 9pm, the furniture was assembled, the living room, the kitchen and the boys' room were done and Liam and Leo were now fast asleep but Owen and Amelia's room was a mess.
Their mattress is laying on the ground besides the not-yet-put-together-frame.
And they collapsed on the bed that was not yet a bed
"Are you tired a lot? "Amelia asked Owen
"mhhh I like how you think" Owen told her
"Yeah like I said in LA now that we've moved in we can make another baby and then we still have to inaugurates this new house and bedroom right?" Amelia said smirking at him
"Oh yes we do! Let's make a baby" He said and kissed her.
"Let's make a baby" she said and kissed him
