chapter 10

OWEN POV
I walked to the garden behind the court and there was a wonderful view of seattle, it was dark and the city lights made it amazing
I walked a little more and that's where I saw it. She was standing in the rain and she was crying but not tears of sadness but tears of joy, she was smiling.
I can't help but look at her when she smile like that, after a while she finally noticed that I was there, she lifted her head and looked me deep in the eyes. The way she look at me makes me want to grab her and kiss her
"you know that if you stay in the rain you will get sick" I said laughing
"I don't care" she said and she was still smiling
"come with me" she said and took me by the arm
"I missed that smile" I said and she blushed
"I'm so glad you're happy" I said
"I am, he won't be able to hurt me or the people I love the most like Leo, Liam or you. I'm going to be able to live again, to breathe again, to laugh again and to be happy, for once the universe has helped me" she said " I succeeded I survived once again when life wanted to finish me off " and she stood there looking at me and I couldn't take it anymore I need,I have to say it.
"Oh screw it" I said " I can't stand it anymore Amelia, I want you, it's you...it's always been you and I can't stand not being with you, I want you close to me, I wanna bring you close and whisper in your ear like lovers do. These soft spoken words weighed down heavy with truth because honestly all I wanna is to hold you as the sun goes down and not let it go until it comes back up. And I know we are not the kind of people who said « I love you » but Amelia I love you, I love everything about you, I love your innocence, I love your curiosity,I love the way you stay close to me as we held hands walking in the empty streets at nights, I love how you kiss me, I love everything about you even the things I hate I love it! And I know I don't deserve you and I don't deserve a second chance in fact a third chance but please if you want to... come back with me.
Because I can't live without you, and I'd rather spend the rest of my life alone than with someone who's not you, I loved you, I love you, and I'll love you until the day I die"
I said and I had tears in my eyes while Amelia was crying, we looked each other in the eye,the rain was falling on us but we didn't care...

AMELIA POV
In one step I got closer to him, put both hands on his cheeks, looked into his eyes once more and stood on my tiptoes. I lifted my head until our lips were just a breath apart and then I kissed him. He pulled me close and kissed me back, he put his hands around my waist and hugged me tightly as we start making out under the rain and a sky full of stars .It was like neither of us needed air we were glued to each other and it felt so good ! more than 2 years without feeling his lips against mine was way too much.
After a while we stopped because we needed some air, I took his hand in mine, I looked at him and said for the first time to the love of my life "I love you too" he smiled and put his forehead against mine

End of chapter 10 ; as you can see I was inspired by the poem "like lovers do" to write this chapter! sorry this chapter was short but it's so good
