My feet wear killing me at least I was a day off today I got the chance to rest, ok funny how my life took a different turn and I must thank God for everything he has done for me, I was very grateful even started attending church to show my gratitude to the all mighty, I felt like heavyweight was lifted off my shoulders. you probably wondering what happened, well as promised a few months back I went job hunting like crazy and I got a job at some restaurant - The Three Kings was the name of my new Job since they were looking for waitresses, they looked at my C.v and matric certificate and the baby bump that was showing, the Manager was so nice that she told me she is looking for a person she can trust with bookkeeping, she taught me the ropes for few days and I got the hang of it, the restaurant was very high class and only people with class came to dine. So weeks passed and I was really starting to enjoy my job and getting the hang of things, so one day It was my lunch break when I decided to grab something to eat, I went to spar since they sell affordable home-cooked meals, I was embarrassed when I realized that I did not have enough cash to pay for my lunch, you know when people start looking at you funny,

Voice: “I'll pay for her “ I looked up and there he was the dark chocolate approached the teller and offered his card, of cause I refused my pride was on the line here but this guy was just too persistent, I thanked him and took my bag walked away but he started following me,

Him: “ we should stop bumping to each other like this “

Me: “it's just coincident, but thank you for paying for my lunch, you didn't have to “

Him: “ yes I didn't have to that is  why you will take my number and call me when you have money to pay me back “

Ouch that was rude of him, I nodded and handed him my phone

Him: “ where you heading now? “

Me: “ work “

I looked at him, he was so child but yet easy to walk with or talk to, besides he helps me out at least I can show him my appreciation

Him: “ Can I take you home after work “

Me: “ I don’t think my baby daddy will like that “

Him: “ she has grown so much since the last time I saw her “ he was looking at my pregnant self I smiled, he even noticed that I was pregnant when we bumped into each other at McDonald

Me: “ what makes you think it’s a she “

Him: “ look how beautiful you are isn’t obvious “

I smiled, wow a compliment when last did I receive that I blushed

Him: “ so can I be horned to get to know your name, maybe that might reduce your debt“

He bites his lip and I felt butterflies in my tummy and my baby started kicking this child is so forward I stopped and placed my hand on my tummy and smiled

Him: “ is she kicking, may I feel? “

I smiled and nodded he placed his hand on my tummy,

Him: “ wow, little kickboxer we got “ my baby just started doing flip,

Me: “ oow, my she never kicked like this before “ I placed my hand on his and there was this electrical shock it was chemistry I looked up at him, he was smiling with dimples for days that highlight his future, and a set of white teeth, his smile was just perfect, this guy was so gorgeous

Me: “ I’m Mpume “

He bit his lower lip and time just froze just like that, everything stood still, we were just cough up in our own bubble
