Wei Wuxian sat with Daiyu on her dragon so that they could discuss things further as they flew over to the forbidden lands.

"So, may I ask how you got yourself into this mess?" Daiyu asked with a raised eyebrow. Wei Wuxian seemed a little uncomfortable to answer, but he knew that he should trust her.

"I suppose we should start with the war then." Wei Wuxian said, startling Daiyu.

"What war?" Wuxian looked at her questionely, but decided to explain.

"The Wens declared war about a year ago trying to take over the other great sects. They lost in the end, but these are the remaining Wens there are." Wuxian spoke, gesturing to the people behind. Daiyu seemed to contemplate this.

"Where were you at the time?"

"I was thrown into the Burial Mounds by the second young master of the Wen sect. However, instead of dying, I started using demonic cultivation to help win the war. In the end, people started to fear me, so I took the remaining Wens who were suffering in the work camp and took them to the Burial Mounds as a last resort." Wuxian spoke quietly while looking away.

"Well, I wasn't planning on interfering with the cultivation sects, but if they are really harming innocents then I can't just leave it alone. Also, I'm sorry for what happened to you, but you did the right thing." Wuxian stared at her with a surprised expression, before grinning widely and nodding.

About another hour later they finally reached the barrier.

"Why are we stopping, there's nothing here?" Wen Qing questioned. Daiyu just walked forward and put her hand on the invisible barrier, just enough to allow all the people through.

"Welcome to your new home," she said as everyone entered. Surprised gasps were heard all around as they took in the sight in front of them. The air was clean, and there was green grass that stretched for miles along with lakes on the sides. They could see a large city far ahead in the distance, and blue skies above.

"What do you think?" Boquin asked. Wuxian turned to him with bright eyes and a smile.

"It's perfect."

Daiyu led them through the outskirts of Star City, towards the plot of land that she had decided on for them. It was in the mountains, and near a lake so they could sustain themselves well. It was only a fifteen minute walk from Star City, so it would be easy for the other four to visit whenever.

The next two weeks, Daiyu and some of her citizens helped build the Wen settlement. It was decided that they would become a medical branch. They built apartments for the singles in the group, and small homes for all the families. They also gave them clothing, food, and any other supplies that they might need. The villagers that lived near them also came by to greet the new people living there. At first the Wen's were surprised by the 'diversity' of people living there, but they quickly became used to it. Once the settlement was completely finished, Daiyu and the sibling guards took the Wen siblings, Wen Yuan and Wuxian to Star City.

As they approached they could see the four staring in awe at the large city in front of them. (Around x10 the size of NYC). They were flying on Daiyu's dragon approaching the royal palace. On the way there, the four questioned the kinds of people living there, as they had never seen it before. Wen Ning also seemed happy at the idea that there were more people like him that lived there. Wuxian also stared at the weird clothing and technology. It wasn't that different from the way he dressed, but people overall were wearing less clothing. They then started flying over a large river and mountain which was where the main palace was.

"Almost there," Daiyu said, and that's when it became visible. It was a giant palace that shined brightly. It was mainly red but had some gold and other colors mixed in. As the darkness approached, you could see golden lanterns being set off everywhere. People were moving all around. Some were servants, while others were nobility. But as soon as Daiyu arrived, everyone bowed to her. It was clear that she had a lot of respect. The people around also took a look at the newcomers. While many of the women and even some men were blushing and whispering about Wei Wuxian who was quite handsome. While an old looking lady, but clearly wealthy, took one look at A-Yuan and Wuxian and decided that they needed to eat. She dragged them off before Daiyu even had a chance to blink.

"Well I suppose that settles that. Boquin, would you take Wen Ning and Wen Qing to their quarters for me?"

"Of course my lady," he said as he took one last look in the direction that Wuxian was dragged off into.

Daiyu sighed as she felt that her somewhat calm life was about to get more... fun.
