Boquin had been enjoying the conference so far. Wuxian had finally been paying attention to him. The only thing that had partially ruined his mood was that stupid second jade. The second Wuxian saw him, he suddenly didn't exist. But nonetheless, he was going to make sure that he would win over Wuxian.
They were currently all in another room eating and enjoying the conference. He looked across the room to stare at the second jade. 'I can see why Wuxian likes him'
But his thoughts were interrupted as he saw a pretty woman in Jin robes approaching him.
"Hi, I'm Jin Yanli, shije to my precious A-Xian. Are you the Bo-gege he goes on dates with?"
Boquin spit out his drink, thankfully none of it got on himself or anyone else. Wuxian appeared at his side, patting his back.
"Shije don't tease my dear Bobo," Wuxian said with a grin, making Boquin start another coughing fit. Once Boquin could properly speak, they started talking. Yanli had been interested in what had happened since Wuxian had disappeared. Boquin was happy to discuss all the embarrassing stories, with A-Yuan joining in at times. Yanli returned the favor by talking about how A-Xian was as a kid.
However, the conversation ended as they heard Wuxian shouting "Lan Zhan!" across the room. Yanli chuckled, while Boquin inwardly fumed. There was no way he was going to let the two go off without him. He quickly walked over the direction where Wuxian had just run.
"Oh! Lan Zhan, did you meet Boquin?"
"Hn, briefly." Wuxian watched as the two stared each other down. More liked Boquin stared down at Wangji, as he looked like a petulant child.
"That's great.." Wuxian for once in his life didn't really know what to say, he felt like he was being left out. The two of them didn't even notice that Wuxian had left to go play with the boys.

Wei Yuan, Jingyi, Jun and little Jin Ling had decided that they were going to make this party a lot more interesting. Jingyi and Jin Ling were excited as they had never gotten a chance to do a real prank before. The rules of the sect taking up all of their creative freedom. They had decided that they were going to serve disgusting desserts to all the leaders who had been rude to Wuxian.
"Wacha doing?"
"AHHH" the four of them jumped in fear. Wei Wuxian was standing behind them, examining the little progress they had made with the deserts.
"We were just uh- making special desserts?" Wei Yuan said with a guilty smile.
"Mhm, I see. You're doing it all wrong! You have to make it spicy, not just gross!" A-Yuan and Jun nodded wisely, while the other two looked flabbergasted at the suggestion from an actual grown-up.

Wei Wuxian had decided to take a small walk after that, when he was returning however, he heard shouts of disgust coming from behind the doors. He chuckled and walked away from the door, deciding it was time to go sleep... or drink wine.

Daiyu was not impressed. These so called sect leaders were just old fools with barely any actual cultivation skills. Besides the twin jades and a person here and there, she found them boring. The world had seriously deteriorated since she had been a part of it. She was pulled out of her thoughts however when she sensed somebody staring at her. She turned to find the Jiang sect leader staring directly at her, but he promptly turned away the second she had caught him. Daiyu was a forgiving person, but her sworn brother was one of her serious soft spots, and the fact that the Jiang sect leader had turned his back on him just pissed her off. The rest of her "sect" members were busy so she decided to go to her room.

Li Jie looked off in the direction that Jia had gone... towards the first jade. He sighed as he realized he had nothing to do. But then a certain boy had caught his attention, the heir to the Nie sect. He had observed him momentarily, he seemed skittish and like he was afraid of his own shadow. 'I have nothing to lose' he thought as he walked over to him. Huaisang looked up as he felt someone was approaching.
"Greetings sect heir," Li Jie said with a small bow.
"Oh uh hi, um, you're from Wei-xiongs sect, right?"
"Yes, I'm his guard," he responded sitting down. At first it was a little awkward, but soon the two had become friendly as they shared a like for the arts.

The first day of the conference had ended soon, with talks of the new sect on the rise, especially with the mystery of the missing Wei Wuxian being solved.
