Wen Qing was quickly getting used to working as a doctor. She was known to be the best doctor in all the sects, but the medicine and technology here was beyond what she believed existed. However her knowledge was very valuable, considering she knew how to remove cores and transfer them. The doctors there were shocked that that was even possible which made her many friends immediately. She especially became close with a woman named Jue.
Jue was half fairy, half human so she could change between the two. Many of her kind exist, but they usually live in the fairy forest, and don't like to leave. She was a petite woman with long light brown hair and pink eyes. She was quiet and kind which worked really well with Wen Qings fiery personality. The two are often now found together working on new medicine or hanging out during breaks. Jue also helped Wen Qing to better understand this world.
Long ago people used to all live together, but as time changed, so did most humans. They started to fear the unknown, so all of them escaped to the forbidden lands. Daiyu's kingdom was originally only the dead, but it soon became home to many more. Many immortals live here as well, as they didn't want any connections to the normal world. They have cultivators, but it's a very small portion of the population. Instead, many people sign to be guards which accommodates all of the residents' different abilities.
Wen Qing grew to love this land very much. Not only was everyone welcoming, but she learned more in a month than she had in her whole lifetime. Also with the abundant spiritual energy in the air, her cultivation increased rapidly. She used to only have enough to heal wounds, but now she could travel long distances by sword and even learned a little about fire affinities.
Wen Qing was last of all happy for her family and brother. The Wen's she used to protect fiercely were now living safely, her little brother was accepted, A-Yuan was getting a good childhood. But most importantly, the savior of her family, Wei Wuxian, was getting treated with the respect that he deserved. Yes, Wen Qing was very happy.

Wen Ning was just happy to be alive usually, but acceptance was something that he never expected. Half the city's population was the undead, and he was just considered normal. His family no longer suffers and his master is getting respect.
Him and his sister were also provided with an amazing home that they didn't even have in the Wen Sect. It had two suites for the siblings, along with an office, a training ground outback and a guest room. On top of that, they were provided with fine clothing that was much less than they would usually wear, but clearly higher quality.
Guard training was going well. He decided that he would use a bow as his main weapon, paired with his unnatural strength. The people here were naturally far stronger, but they were very welcoming. They had been helping him every step of the way, especially Hong.
Wen Ning was a little intimidated by Hong's personality at first as she reminded him of a mix between Jian Wanyin and his sister. But he learned a lot about the girl. She was just strongly protective of her home and especially Daiyu. Daiyu had saved her and her brother, and she vowed to always protect her, not that she needed it. Hong often helped Wen Ning train and she even taught him everything about this world.
Wen Ning knew that everyone he loved was safe and that the possibilities of the future were endless.
