The conference was starting at noon, so the group woke up early to get ready and be able to make it there on time. They weren't going to wear over-the-top outfits like they often did at home. But they were still going to dress nicer than the sects. At first they were planning to seem like a small sect, but they changed their plans when they noticed the Jins were gaining too much power. Their new goal was to become the most powerful sect so that they can have control over the corruption. After breakfast, they went to their rooms to get ready.
Jia put on a black silky robe as her first layer. Her second layer was a red silk robe, and her last layer was black lace. She also tied back half of her hair in a braid with a black ribbon, along with a gold flower piece in her hair. She also put on some gold jewelry that she liked. Last of all, she put both her swords strapped onto her back and grabbed her pouch.
Li Jie quite enjoyed dressing up, so he went all out. He put on a red silk robe as his first layer, and the second layer was black lace. On the very top, he put on a black robe with gold dragons that his master had gifted him last year. He liked leaving his hair down, but braided a couple small strands with gold jewels on the ends. Last of all, he strapped his sword to his waist, and grabbed his favorite fan which was red with gold dragons. He then grabbed his pouch, and put his Qin in there.
Boquin had not only wanted to dress up for the conference, but for A-Xian as well. He knew that he was getting closer to him, so he would keep trying. He put on a black silk robe as his first layer. With the second being red silk. His last layer was a black mesh style robe with red dragons. He put the top of his hair in a bun, with a golden hair piece. He then strapped his sword to his waist.
Wei Wuxian had decided that he would help his little radish dress for the occasion. A-Yuan would be wearing a thin black underrobe, with a large red robe on top, that had black and gold dragons on it. Wei Wuxian also helped him put his hair in a high ponytail, with several little intricate braids. To signify him as the clan heir, they also put a large gold piece in his hair along with a red ribbon. Last of all, A-Yuan strapped his flute and his sword to his waist.
Wei Wuxian used to hate dressing up, but has grown to like it over the years of living in the palace. He put on a red silk robe on bottom, along with a black robe on top that had a large golden dragon on the back. He pulled back two small braids and tied it with his well-known red ribbon. He then put in a small golden crown that he had gotten when he became sworn siblings with Daiyu. Last of all he strapped his sword, Suibian, along with Chequing at his waist.
Daiyu is a literal goddess, and she never tones it down. She has always admired fine clothing, even when she used to live among the people. She put on red silk under a robe, with a darker red silk dress on top. On top of all that, she put on the same black robe with a golden dragon that her brother was wearing. She also put several braids and twists in her long silver hair. On her head, she put on her golden crown that had red rubies on it. Last of all, she strapped Jun, who was in sword form to her waist and headed out to meet the rest.
"Why can't we take the dragons?" asked Jia, complaining for the tenth time.
"Because we don't want to freak out the civilians," responded Daiyu. It was now already noon, but they knew that they were just making silly introductions right now.
"We should also take our swords instead of walking there since we don't want to get crowded by the people. Don't you see the way we're dressed?" said A-Yuan.
"I suppose," Wuxian sighed. They took off towards the conference. They had just arrived at the bottom of the stairs, already getting attention from anyone present.
"What sect is this," asked the guard at the front, clearly taken back by their wealth.
"Likun sect," responded Wuxian. They walked up the stairs admiring the place.
"It's not as nice as my palace, but it is definitely well taken care of," said Daiyu, looking around.
"They are the wealthiest sect," responded Wuxian. They had walked to the top, and the doors opened as they announced the arrival of the Likun sect. All heads turned.
