(Morty's Pov)
I fluttered my eyes open to find Echo sleeping beside me. I smiled softly and couldn't help but admire her while she slept, of course not in a creepy way. I couldn't help but admire how the morning sun shined through the bedroom window and hit Echo's perfect skin.
Her mouth was parted open while her breathing was normal meaning she was finally sleeping peacefully. I was glad she was able to sleep again, I'm honestly glad she's feeling better. I didn't want to move away fearing I'll disturb her slumber and I didn't want to move and make her feel sad if she woke up without me in bed so I merely waited until she woke up herself.
After a few moments I could tell she woke up but snuggling closer to me which made me chuckle a little and run my fingers through her soft hair. She smiled tiredly and fluttered her beautiful ruby colored eyes open to look at me.
I greeted her which made her greet me back as I asked how she slept which she responded with better which was great. It was quiet for a moment until an idea popped in my head which I had blurted out wanting to take Echo out on a date. She looked confused which I clarified that I wanted to take her out again which made her smile shyly and agree.
I told her we could spend the whole say together which made her giggle and agree because nothing would honestly make me happier. We had got out of bed and headed out of our room and to the kitchen seeing the others who were chatting and making breakfast. They had greeted us while I made Echo coffee like always.
Brock had asked what we had plan for today which I told them me and Echo are spending the whole day together which Misty said was sweet. When breakfast was ready, we all sat outside because it was always beautiful out in the morning and ate our delicious food Brock had made.
There were random conversations here and there, but I'd glance at Echo who seemed to have a permanent smile and blush on her face which made me think that she's thinking about our day together which made me smile knowing I make her happy.
After breakfast, we helped clean up as Echo went to get ready for our date. While she was in the shower, I managed to quickly get dressed in my outfit which was nice jeans, a button up shirt and tie. After that, I headed outside where the others were and used Brock's map to find a somewhat fancy place for us to eat at, "you look great Morty" Ash commented,
I smiled "Thank you" I said and had waited by a tree for Echo to walk out. I wanted it to be a surprise when we see each other kinda like how it was on our first date. When Echo came out, I swear she always knew how to take my breath away. She was wearing nice black overalls with a white turtleneck long sleeve that complemented her figure and skin tone so well.
She stared at me with adoration which made me smile as I walked up to her and wrapped my arms around her waist and eyed her up and down which made her do the same. I told her she was stunning which made her blush and smile shyly. Misty told us how cute we were together which made us chuckle a little and thank her.
