(Echo's Pov) *The Same Day*
Once we got to Petalburg City, May had took us to her house which was connected to the Gym which make sense seeing as her father is the Gym leader. We walked in her home "Mom, Dad! I'm home and I brought some friends" She called out; an attractive older woman walked out with a man standing next to her, "oh hello dear did you pick your first pokemon?" The woman asked, "I sure did and I bumped into these guys along the way" She said,
They looked at us and smiled "Hello my name is Caroline and this is my husband Norman" She introduced herself, "It's nice to meet you kids" Norman said, "Hi my name is Ash and this is my buddy Pikachu" Ash introduced himself and Pikachu who said hi I'm assuming, "And my name is Brock" "The names Morty" "And my name is Echo" We all introduced ourselves which made them smile.
Morty kissed my cheek which made me blush and smile softly as he intertwined his fingers with mine, "It's so lovely to already meet some of May's new friends" Caroline said, "Mom where's Max?" May asked, "he's in the greenhouse with my pokemon" Norman said, "oh okay I'm going to go get him" May said and ran off to get Max who I'm going to assume is her brother.
It was quiet for a moment "Are you kids hungry? I'm just about finished with lunch, you're more than welcome to stay" Caroline asked, "we'd love to. Thanks" Brock said, she just smiled and went to finish cooking leaving us with Norman "Norman I'd like to have a gym battle with you!" Ash blurted out,
We were all caught off guard which made Norman laugh "Of course you can battle me. It'll be a 3 on 3 gym battle" He stated, Ash frowned "3 on 3? But I only have my buddy Pikachu with me. I left the others with Professor Oak because I wanted to catch new pokemon here" Ash explained, Norman thought for a moment "Well we can still have a battle but it won't be an official Gym battle" Norman suggested,
Ash smiled again "Sounds great!" He said, Norman laughed which made me chuckle and shake my head. May came back with a little boy by her side, "Guys this is my little brother Max, Max these are my friends, Ash, Brock, Morty and Echo" She introduced us, Max glared at us and smiled "Woah you're Morty, the Ecruteak City Gym Leader!" Max shouted with excitement,
Morty chuckled "that I am" He said, "What are you doing all the way in the Hoenn Region?" He asked, Morty chuckled and looked at me "Traveling with my girlfriend of course" he said which made me blush and smile. Max walked up to me and eyed me "So you're his girlfriend huh?" He asked, I just nodded "hm" he said which made me laugh nervously.
Morty kissed my head which made me smile softly "Lunch time kids!" Caroline shouted which made everyone run to the kitchen. I took a deep breath and sighed as me and Morty walked to the kitchen and took a seat at the kitchen table, "Wow look at all this food!" Ash shouted along with Pikachu, "you're gonna love mom's cooking" Max said,
We all smiled as we dug into the food and moaned with delight "Wow this is very good Caroline" Brock said, she smiled softly "Why thank you Brock. Do you cook as well?" She asked, he just laughed "Oh yes. I cook for me and the others and their pokemon" Brock said, Caroline laughed a bit "That's great" She said,
