"I do this with conviction
I write truths and never fiction
My disease is what you fed
I can't stop with my ambition
Like a missile on a mission
I'm a force that you will dread-ead"
. . .Either it's my over smart brain that gets me in trouble or it's just my attitude. Well, I guess they both were responsible for the situation they have put me in. I should probably stop beating around the bush and accept the fact that it was my selfishness that dragged me into this situation however I don't think that helping your friend to cheat on an exam so they could stay in the university is selfish.
I carefully glanced at my left side and then at my right side, no one was around, I smirked and slide my credit card into the vertical crack between the door and frame, I slide it down next to the doorknob and pushed the credit card in, I tilted the card further in and bend it and lean against the door, I started wiggling the card back and forth to open the door, without making any type of sound, the door opened, I tiptoed and entered or more like broke into Mr Malik aka our university's one of the most intolerable professors' apartment.
Glancing in every direction of his apartment I switched on my mobile phone's flashlight and began to search his bag, I would have done it when we were in the university itself but that human wouldn't leave his bag or keep it away from him, not even for a second. He kept that bag with him as if that bag was his prized possession.
I was well aware that I was invading his privacy, but I couldn't care less, and let's not forget that I was terrified of being caught. I rushed into a room, I spotted a bed and peeked under the pillow. "Who the fuck hides their fucking bag beneath their fucking pillow?" My subconscious yelled at me for my foolishness.
I searched around the room for minutes, I checked at the time and kicked the cupboard's door in frustration and unexpectedly, like a miracle his bag fell on the floor, I looked up and thought why I didn't kick this damn cupboard in the first place? I bend down to pick up his bag and I happened to hear a masculine voice which certainly didn't belong to Mr Malik "Nice ass" they said, I felt like my blood drained from my entire body. Getting caught was the last thing I wanted. I quickly turned around; my mobile phone's flashlight fell on a man with a ridiculously attractive face.
He had blue eyes, a sharp jawline, a well-built muscular body and he was tall, very tall and he also had a scar across his face. He was basically that kind of a man who can make you fall on your knees, his body was screaming attraction and danger.
He appeared to be a businessman, which meant he was completely harmless. He was dressed nicely in a tie, black coat, and leather shoes, but when I looked closer, I noticed a gun in his hands, indicating that the man standing in front of me might not be a businessman and that the word harmless was not even in his dictionary.
"Who the bloody hell are you?" I asked him confidently with a bit of anger to hide how scared I was.
I expected him to answer but I hear someone else's voice "We could ask you the same thing" I moved my hand and flashed the light fell on the other man's face "Ah! Get the light off my face," he said, raising his hand to block the light coming from my phone. All I could see was his raven head.
What the hell were they doing there?
Suddenly the lights turned on and I saw one more man, now there were three men and me, standing in Mr Malik's room, just like that scar guy, everyone was muscular and had a nasty smirk on their faces. They looked at me and then at the cupboard which hinted to me that someone was standing behind me. I turned around and saw the fourth man.
