I will say that keeping this secret was going to be hard; Valka told me things I needed to watch out for and stress was one of them and right now having worries for Sigurd would give me plenty of stress but Eivor made sure that I kept busy with things to keep my mind calm.

I know that Sigurd would return but when was the question, would he return before our son would be born? Or after our son would be born? Those two questions were on my mind most of the day; thank the gods I could count on Valka for herbs and getting checked up for the baby it was good to know she had my back when no one here truly had it beside my brother.

Things were changing around here and sometimes not for the better, everyone was on edge about the fate was of Jarl wondering if he was alive or dead but I know he was alive and that brought calm thoughts for me; but there was something that I noticed for sure was the times I saw Eivor and Randvi together. I looked alright for moments since they only spoke about the maps and alliances only but, this morning I noticed Eivor and Randvi getting on a horse and riding off somewhere which made me wonder if something was between them but I wouldn't blame either of them since things were changing but I just found it interesting for sure.

Right now I was at my new built hut that Eivor helped build for me along with our blacksmith Gunner he was always nice to me and still is which was nice to know as well. It has been at least a week now; noticing my body changing felt weird and it was weird just thinking about what it was going to be like being a mother for the first time. I wonder if my mother thought about these things herself; I couldn't help but chuckle thinking about when she told me one day that she was surprised when it turned out to twins when Eivor was born and then I came along. I just hope that I wasn't going to have twins right now I couldn't help but laugh at that thought.

I heard footsteps outside which brought me away from my thoughts, I stood up from my chair and opened the door seeing Eivor there looking troubled for some reason.

"What's wrong?" I asked wondering why he looked troubled.

"Nothing, I just have things on my mind" Eivor tried to cover it up but I crossed my arms raising a brow at his words.

"Lier" I said knowing he was hiding something from me.

He sighed as he looked at the ground, I opened the door more for him to come in before I closed the door behind us both; he sat down on the stool by the table placing his elbows on his knees as he looked at the ground sighing again.

"Start talking" I said to him once I sat down in my chair crossing my left leg over my right.

"Well, I took Randvi out for the day to Grantbridge to just take a break" he started which I understood since she has been working very hard on the maps and alliances around here she did needed a break.

"And?" I asked knowing that there was more to come from this talk of ours.

I handed him some water when I took some by my little table; he thanked me with a nod before continuing what he wanted to speak to me about.

"After that we went to an old tower and climbed it, enjoying the view of the setting sun from there" he spoke after he took a drink of cold water.

"Doesn't seem worrying to me" I said like nothing was wrong when I took a drink from my glass.

"Then Randvi kissed me" he spoke once more not waiting for any moment.

I spit out my water in shock letting my blue eyes widen in shock when I looked at him with a surprised look on my face with my mouth slightly opened by the news he told me.
