The greeting of the sound of voices came to me when I awoke from my sleep, I yawned from my sleep before standing up from the bed hearing the voices of Eivor and Randvi in the mapping room.
"Basim has sent word about Sigurd's whereabouts in Cent" I heard Randvi speak to Eivor.
My heart leaped with hope that Sigurd would return to me once and for all but I had to make sure this was true once I entered the room.
"You found Sigurd?" I asked with hope in my voice catching their attention.
"We believe so and hope, I will go and speak to Basim and find out more and soon Sigurd will return to us and Fulke's head on a spike" Eivor said to me finishing his words with a deadly promise about the woman who took Sigurd from me.
"I wish I could go with you" I said placing my hands on my stomach feeling a small kick from my child.
"I know, but I promise I will bring Sigurd back home to you and your son" Eivor said as he wrapped his arms around me in a hug that I returned.
"Okay" was all I could say before Eivor soon left the room encountering in a small fight with Dag.
I had a good feeling that it was Dag you started this rumor that was true; for some reason he choice to point me in everyone's hateful gazes when it was a good moment when Sigurd was brought up the jealousy was always there on his face; I made sure I was out of his sights so he wouldn't storm over to me and spread more true words about my child so that everyone could hate him for something that couldn't be helped by me and Sigurd. But thankfully he left in a huff giving Eivor the moment to go and speak to Basim about Sigurd, I really wanted to go with him and find Sigurd.
"Arnora, would you like to help me with maps? Might help take your mind off of things" Randvi's broke me out of my thoughts to bring my attention to her.
"Sure" I said walking closer to the table seeing the large map of England on it along with many little maps here and there as Randvi spoke about how she maps out each place while I listened to her my eyes couldn't help but look at the location saying Cent.
My heart ached for wanting to know if it was true that Sigurd was there or not, I placed my free hand on my stomach again thinking about today being the day where I reached my seventh month only two more months before my son is born.
"Are you alright?" Randvi's voice broke me out of my thoughts once again.
"I'm worried" I said with the look of worry on my face but I couldn't help it having Sigurd be torn away from me was painful and now having a glimmer of hope that he could return was just too good to be true right now.
"I promise it will be alright, we just have to wait" Randvi said trying to calm down my thoughts from their worries.
All I could do was nod my head hoping that good news will be brought sooner rather than later.
I did everything to keep my mind busy, I helped Randvi with maps, I cleaned my new room, brought little things from my hut to my room; washed clothes, helped make new maps again; walked a little around in the woods by the creek. Anything you could think of I did it to keep my mind off the thought about Sigurd but honestly nothing was helping and I hated it so much; I needed word from Eivor but nothing has come no word that he arrived in Cent or anything about if Sigurd was there or not, in all these thoughts time went faster around me when I soon found it morning today and now night once again in a flash.
I softly tossed and turned in my bed trying to find a place to sleep but my mind was so wide awake and my heart never stopped hoping to finally have Sigurd back within my arms again, I honestly wondered how he would react to my new look with my black hair now how was I going to tell him? Those also were swimming around in my mind which made me sigh before sitting up in my bed guessing it was late at night maybe midnight who knows.
